Very imagery heavy track brudda. this is a nice composition, what did you use to compose this? and if you did any mastering it sounds on point, i can hear this in a rpg or something. very nice.

this is very good - I like the way you set it up first with just the general mood and ambiance - then bring in the drums fer the full groove - nice mixing and developement - the vocs are quite strange - but very effective and defining! Ahappy new year to you!

Really good work. The design is admirable, and the theme chosen. I am captivated by the great masters and the sounds you have produced here .... but I think the voices are not quite suitable. This is only my humble opinion of course....

Dan

Re ....

This was simply a suggestion, but I respect your work here, and understands your approach. Happy New Year ....

thanks for having the time to listen and review this track. the voices in this track was a image that i had for these theme. But for some reason sometimes it is too much and it can distract you from the theme its self, it is allways a fight when i use voices, because i love to work with choirs and experiment with them around my music.
But thanks again

This is tremendous. Your mix gives a feeling of depth, almost like I'm standing at the edge of a great chasm, leaning over...not far enough to fall, but enough to know that another fraction of an inch and I'm in trouble.

Masterful use of the percussion section. It enhances the feel and is a great lead in to the plaintive wail of the guitar.

This is drama at its finest and definitely a favorite. It belongs in a movie.

Marvelous!!

Man, I love cello. There is something about that instrument that puts it on a higher plain. While violins are special, it is the cello that is the superstar of the string section.

There is some real suspense in this piece.

I love the build up in the middle section. It evokes thoughts of a train traveling through the countryside, its destination unknown.

The true test of a cinematic piece is this - can it stand on its own, without visual aids, and paint a mental picture for the listener. This one certainly meets and exceeds that test. Bravo for a well thought out, and brilliantly written song.

Fantastic piece! Music full of suspense. But in my opinion, the voices were not mandatory. A history of taste of course ....

About the voices; sometimes you have an idea and i put it out there, but the input from you about the voices gives me a challenge to approach it different, and give it a try to do without the voices.
Thanks for this

Good musical idea, but I think there is still some work to do, for level mixing (this is only my humble opinion). By cons I like the atmosphere you have created, I am a fan ....

I love the cello from the start. Very relaxing, I agree about the drums...wasn't expecting that, but it works out.

thanks for listening, and yes the cello is the start of the whole impact in this song.

Peaceful and spiritual, nicely done! Suprised to hear the drums come in, wasn't expecting that but as it progressed I bought into it.

Ableton is amazing, I'm so impressed with all the tracks people produce with it, this one is no exception.

hi mate nice tune, i think i can see the direction you were heading for, if youre using Ableton live you will be able to use the time strectch or beat mapper and also change the picth of the sample. Just some thoughts.

on panic in a structure by thyroid
In my opinion, the most important element of an ambient track is that it must have atmosphere. Indeed, I think it may well be true that without a great atmosphere the track cannot really be called ambient. This track has enough atmosphere for 3 ambient tracks. It is dark, hypnotic and image provoking.

Great track. I was visualizing one thing when it first started and then the drums kicked in....it changed the whole feel of it. I like when one track can work with so many different genres.....this one sure does. Great job.

definitely feeling the darkness but there also seems to be a great feeling of anticipation, like when you're watching a movie and the music is telling you something is going happen, but it doesn't give it to you right away. This is a well constructed piece and I very much like your production.
