Happy I got to hear this one from yah. I can hear the South African influences in the drum patterns, but you deliver it with a minimalist style which is very cool. The organ is interesting as well. It´s hot (28) today in Ottawa and I am enjoying a nice beer listening to this one as the breeze filters into my listening area. perfect accompaniments for my day mate!
cheers Cru
Wow Thanks for the love Cru I am deeply touched by your kind words. Glad you enjoy the song. All the way from Ottawa, Canada I am humbled. Thanks for the time you took to listen and positive feedback you shared. Keep well mate highly appreciated
I really like the melodies in here! They are pretty catchy actually :) It reminds me of a tropical island. But i do agree with ALXSIX on the vocals; it gets a bit repetitive.
Thanks for the listen glados666, highly appreciated. Yeah just used sample vocals on this to test drive. But thanks for positive feedback It gives me courage
Positive vibes from the very beginning !
The keys melody makes me think of some kind of adventure game, exploring the mysterious countryside.
Maybe a bit less fan of the vocal loop, could use some variations or some effects on it.
Fun track all the same !
Thanks a lot mate for positive feedback. Glad you liked the track. Wil definitely get some vocals for the track. The sample was to fill the void on this instrumental arrangement. Thanks again man
Thank you good sir for checking the track out. Lol I agree it's not house by a long shot. It's Kwaito music in SA and it's not listed on the menu. Thanks again for stopping by.
the vocal harmonizing sounds great and mix is very slick! it is always fun to hear a new style - now I have heard South African pop style! very cool. glad to make the acquaintance of your music! best wishes! Dan
yea - i've been there with the self-induced trance thing. definitely gotta know when to walk away (walk the dog). but you have a nice groove going here, the bass is nice and clear. it's a happy, enjoyable track so don't be too hard on yourself! best regards! Dan
LOL :)!Thanks a lot Dan for warm words of encouragement.I'm truly inspired reading through your comment. Thanks for the time you took to listen and comment.
Nice uplifting and groovy beats you made here. The bassline comes in at the perfect moment and gives the groove some more backbone. The synth pad is really nice as well although i think it could be a little more in the front. Maybe an extra synth would do the trick as well. But as a whole it is a great track and a fun to listen to. Well done1
Thank you thank you thank you Mudhoen.Your contribution is noted and would be implemented when I revisit the mix.I feel blessed to receive constructive words from you champ.Much appreciated man.Keep cool
Hi there,
Nice song !
My only remark would be on the vocal mix (i would have add a longer reverb and a bit of delay, maybe a doubler and lower a bit the vocals volume), so they'd be more aerial. Overall a very good song with a strong old school beat and very nice vocals.
Keep up the good work, thanx a lot for sharing.
Thanks for the comment Deope, much appreciated.I cut down on rev and delay to allow clarity on vocals, that's why maybe they sound a bit louder than mix.I like your wise input and i've noted it.Just shows the time you put in to listen to the track and m really humbled to receive your contribution. Thanks a lot mate
that organ around 1:08 is great stuff...genre doesn`t matter...its uniquely creative music lechina..and thats a good thing when so much of what we hear on this side of the planet is canned crap...its upbeat..bouncy...dancing music..its well produced...and it leaves you with a smile...well done...Ed
Thank you so much my old friend Tumbleweed for the kind words.
Really appreciated.Funny and sadly I tried to get it to radio stations, but they weren't interested for God knows what.Anyway thanks buddy for the listen and comment
I care little about what genre this would be, to me it is just fine quality electronic music. It's super creative, and I love to hear that... don't hear it often enough any more. Positive vibration, yeeah. I love the percussion parts, and then the organ showed up and I reached exstacy! Very much "up my alley." One of the coolest and most creative songs I've heard lately, and I thank you for that! Great! Fave!
Oh! Spivkurl you make me blush.Your words are so beautiful.I feel blessed that you took time to listen and sent me feedback.I really truly appreciate your comment my friend.I listened to some of your stuff too I believe you great too
:)Thank you for the love
Yes, you are correct, this sounds very well recorded! I have listened to this style, or it's US influenced counterparts quite often recently, and I really like this type of pop influenced, tribal beat driven music. I'm hoping to learn that these are your vocals, because I find them so healing and engaging! I have no reference for the lyrics, but I can still feel the power contained in them. I like the positivity of the music and composition. Fine fine work! For sure a favorite!
Thank you so much Spivkurl for such sweet and encouraging comment. The lyrics are written in Zulu language, and I wrote the song myself. And the lady's voice escalated the whole feel of the song.I am glad you truly like the track and Favorited it.The message in here is extremely deep and resonate with a lot of people.Anyway thanks for listening buddy, and keep doing great music! :)
This is a very groovy piece, Lechina! It has cool unique style to it, somewhat techno, dance, retro and even a bit of Latin flavor all mixed into one. Keeps your interest throughout... Good job!
Thank you so much ScottB55 for the listen.I appreciate the time you took to browse through the song and sent feedback. It gives me the courage and hope for the best. Thanks a lot
Great arrangements and turns, reminds me of a spyro or early crash bandicoot theme in a surf level or somthn xD
I love the subtle impliments of certain elemnts through out the song, it keeps the attention and holds it in awe
Very very nice sound and feel.
There's carnival here and calypso and coconuts and rum and sunshine!
Remember sunshine? If you're in the U.K maybe not.
It'll be back and I can hear this playing away in my garden as I sip cool drinks and watch the grandchildren playing and the adults getting a little high.
This is sunshine in a bag!
Thanks a lot Silverman for commenting.Quiet poetic and fun I must say.well I can only assume you loved the song and downloaded it.Love the way you express your feeling man, much appreciated and thanks for the listen yeah!
This is radio material my friend, of course artist and fans are going to find things wrong with it, because we are all different with different taste of vocals and instruments and how it should have been done or what would have been better, but what feels good to you?? i like it, for that fact it shows you as a artist with his own style, good work my friend and keep doing a awesome job. Larry
Good general observation Larry,we all are different in music tastes, styles and perceptions. This shows me your sense of maturity in this game.I really like you for this comment.I'm inspired by your words and thanks a lot for taking the time to listen and sharing your comment.Lets do more music just for the love of it! *blessed* :)
I see I`m late catching up with this one lechina...it does have a nice poppy vibe..Laurie`s vocal sounds good...nice bouncy happy tune...and we could always use more of that....well done...Ed
thank you very much Tumble.Yeah I reckon we should make some happy music to lift up the mood dude.I'm glad you love the track. Thanks for the listen mate
