Thank you RJR, for the listen and comment. I too try to find any element of appreciation in a artist creation, whether it be the mix or master, or if it grabs me emotionally. I'm glad this track touched you in a positive way. Thanks again. Sorry for the delay reply. PEACE. T576 OUT.
The intro reminded me of a song of the 90s; I thought it was Maxwell - Ascension, but seems that's not it. Anyway, I'm guessing you will like him? It's a compliment btw, I was a pretty big fan - saw him live on a festival and he completely blew us away.
Thank you, Bao, for the high compliment. I too like Maxwell. I can only imagine the energy of that concert. The 90s; was a verry creative era in music. Artist were still writing music from the heart as opposed to the pocket. I feel your music is from the heart. Thanks again for stopping by. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Uh Oh! Now, you've done it!!! You've elevated the Smooth Jazz Art Form!!! This mellow-groovy track is infectious, very smooth, and simply a joy to listen to. The production is stellar, of course. Well done, you!!!!!
Well Mykael, after that comment, I will have to go out and purchase a LARGER HAT.LOL. My head is on swole. Thank you for a much-appreciated comment. I've been getting much love for this track, Much like your MOWTOWN VOICE. I will have to stop by and get another dose of the velvet voice. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Hi there.
First i have to say that jazz isn't something i often listen to. So i only can say something about the mix and mastering and there i can only say good things. Well made, well produced, nice sounds, nice mixing, nice guitar playing.
First let me say, joe I appreciate your Onesty. I myself will listen the same way. If the style of music is something I normally don't listen to, I can still appreciate a good mix and Master. It's just respect to the artist creation in my opinion. Thank you again for the listen and comment. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Great Jazz bro, this is real smooth, nice guitar and keys the drums are just were they need to be and that bass is cool, real good work mate great listen, I thought MT was the jazz god, but you running him close here :))
Thank you dime, MT and I are like blood brothers here on the Loop. We communicate regularly. I know you, being a artist yourself, know when I say I was feeling this one, what I mean. Thank you again for showing love on this one. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Thank you second for the listen and comment. I love smooth Jazz. I like the journey it allows me to go on. Thank you for taking this journey with me. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Good morn, IM. I can tell you this, the most valuable word you used in your comment iS FEEL. JAZZ is one of the most particular genres of music that you have to masterfully poses "FEEL" to be able to play it. Sample production has caused the younger generation to not have any interest in theory or sight reading. It's like a cult. Long as you have the 808'S banging, bass synth with plenty of 20Hertz or bellow, thirty second to sixty forth high hats, and a catchy acapella, you're a producer. Jazz is a spiritual feel. Learn some theory, and sight reading as a start. Get a good metronome. With JAZZ you have to be all the way in, time wise. There is no compromise. Hope this helps you start your journey. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Thank you Bao. I tried several arpeggios before deciding to use that one. I felt by the music being some what up tempo my guitar entry would have to be high energy to set the pace for telling the musical story. The same difference as when you're writing lyrics. I appreciate the "Ooooh" out load on this one. LOL. PEACE.T576 OUT.
Yo T! What a start! Mellowness personified. And yep I hear that buttered saturation! Now what’s up with those guitar runs huh? That piano? That bass? You wrong for this masterpiece which my ears told my finger to bang on that heart LOL! This is well thought out and wonderfully executed throughout! My day is now made. Peace.
What's up 77, I did those runs for the haters. Yesser Thanks to my little friend J37, Suttle but yet noticeable to the trained ear did it's job. I like that description, buttered saturation. Those ears of yours are going to catch you a case telling your fingers to bang on hearts LOL. As always thank you for stopping by.
I never listen to classical except very occasionally vivaldi but I really like your track.
Very well constructed.
Nice to hear something different on LM.
Thank you RJR, for your Onesty and like. Constructing this was verry difficult. Its a lot different than if you're the producer for an RNB/ POP artist. The song form of classical music is endless. Its more a concept of carefully constructed movements or phrases of musical emotions. Thanks again for the listen and comment. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Thank you Beatmaker, After I finished this track, I had more of a respect for classical music. I've always loved it, but writing in that style of music made me understand that it takes a different level of concentration to create, as well as perform this kind of music. I had a ball though composing this. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Wow, so good to hear something this unique and brilliant on LM. I love the melodies (wonderful) all woven through, the drama, the evolution. Playful in places even. Great composition and production. It could have been twice as long but I'd say your eyes and ears would have fallen out and off!!
Thank you Zoot, for the appreciated observation of this track, and yes by the time I was done with it, Like I had replied to pseudoble, my brain was completely drained. This was probably one of most mentally challenging genre's I decided to journey in to. Just to add, I took 6 months of my life to listen to nothing but classical compositions, By then I had learned to sight read. What I discovered was, this form of music consist of calculated movements emotions and instrumentation that perfectly fit together from intro to ending. Try this journey. You will love it in the end. PEACE. T576 OUT.
T576, i still remember going to see an orchestra with school too, i was about 12/13 we were told we were going and it was like oh god boring music for old people, i liked funky music, i was a dancer you see. but it was stunning, it left a lasting impression on me, i had never heard such beauty the orchestra starting up the solo instruments and the full orchestra playing together. i was blown away. this work reminded me of that memory thankyou. a lot of work and thought has gone into your piece. everything has its place from the strings to the drums and timpani im not surprised there is 40hrs of work here all strp sequenced too, great composition, great production great sound very well done
Hey dime, thanks for stopping by. Yep this one took me for a loop. First, I'm glad it took you back in time, it did me the same way. This form of creation was verry difficult to do. Classical musicians are some of the most technical and emotionally gifted artist on the planet, now imagine having to use that mentality as a guide to create a composition. Classical music unlike most other genre's, have no set song form boundaries, which means the instrumentation sky has no limits. What beauty in composition. Thank you again for the like. PEACE. T576 OUT.
WOW! Kind of classical, but actually very avant-garde! Definitely one of the most interesting compositions I've heard here on Looperman (or anywhere else for that matter!)
I do pretty much everything in midi, but definitely not via step sequencing. It's amazing that you constructed this piece that way. I can't imagine even attempting to do something like that.
So, to be clear, I liked it a lot and was very impressed with both the composition in and mix. As I was listening, I started imagining how it might be used in a film soundtrack. Very, very, nice work. I usually try to offer some constructive comments on details, but in this case, perhaps because the piece is so unique, I really have no suggestions or critiques.
Hopefully, it will get lots more listens here. Definitely deserves the attention of Looperman members.
Erick, you made my evening with this comment. Coming from some one with a classical background in piano training, I couldn't have gotten a more Theral Analisis and understanding of this track, and you are correct about the step sequencing, it was quite a challenge, but once I put my mind set in the mode of what the conductors job was, it started to come together as if I were putting together a 5000-piece puzzle, and by then I was all the way in. Thank you again for showing appreciation for this track. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Nice! Love the build, the timpani sounds wonderful, and as it evolves every instrument shines in its right place. It's a really beautiful composition and arrangement - I cant imagine how long this took (not quick I think!!)
Thank you pseudoble for the appreciated comment. This one took a different type of concentration from beginning to end. I had to think as if I were the person playing each instrument, as well as the composer and conductor. It took at least 40 hours to complete, but I noticed my brain was quite drained when I completed it, but was pleased with the results. Will stop by soon. Sorry for late reply. PEACE. T576 OUT.
T576! This is exactly what you described! loving all the string highs with the cymbal crashes and the cello and timpani lows. The cinematic bent is begging for visuals. That chamber orchestral business is refreshing. Class! Peace.
Thank you Mark for the humbling words of approval. I was picturing my self as the orchestra conductor as I was writing this one. It was so much fun writing this. It took me to a dimension in my mind , I rarely tap in to. Sorry for the late reply, working on some smooth stuff.
Thank you Shaman for feeling this track. It means a lot to me. So far the love I've been getting for this track has been highly apreciated. Thank you again for the listen and comment.
A poignant and heartfelt tribute and beautifully arranged and performed - Im thinking your brother would have been very pleased to here this and look forward to the next iteration - thanks for sharing
Thank you pseudoble, Just from the love I've gotten from this track, I realize that it would have been somewhat selfish not to upload it, but every time I tried to listen to it,
emotionally I just couldn't handle it. Some one as gifted as he was deserves me to keep his spirit alive through his music. Thank you again for the listen and reply. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Thank you, SN , I hope, some way, somehow he knows that his music won't lay dormant in this world. I really appreciate the love I've been getting for this track. To you and the other artist that have shown love, THANK YOU, from the top and the bottem of my heart. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Thank you Rap, Some tracks just plain need to be heard, His ability to make words come to life amazed me. My hope is that this track touches some one who needs a jump start on compation in this world. We're all HUMAN. PEACE. T576 OUT.

Like my step dad plays drums with a lot of jazz bands, but I've never actually sat down and understood jazz music theory. It's all about the feel.
I suppose I'd have to sit down and just blast this and other tracks to immerse myself.
