T576, this was a superb listen. What I hear is that you have the ability to take what moves you and translate that into music. If I'm wrong then I'll stand corrected. Clean mix that is Watercolors worthy. Great job done very well.

With those glorious horns I get a bit of soul in this too. Great guitar work, like the sax at the end, could probably have had more of that interspersed with the guitar just to mix things up a bit.

Stinks of it, but a smell I like very much love the funky clap beat, the lead is lit, bassline is right on point and the occasional hi hats and smash are another great add, real funky smell sound feel and vibe T

Thank you for stopping by. Back in the day I was in close contact with Boot so if I see him, I will give him the message. Short story. I knew his brother Catfish and bought a mixer from him. I had one of the original drummers from Jaimes brown with me, 1 eye tiger. Cat had a full rig setup for a vintage Stratocaster and made the mistake of letting me play it and Tiger played his drums. I did machine gun by Jimi Hendrix, after that our relationship ended. LOL. PEACE. T576 OUT.

Hot smooth Jazz indeed - I think Wayne (the humps) has summed it up again too. I was waiting for that guitar nice to have it come in at last (though perhaps it was in there more quietly earlier in the track following along with the synth line). Sound production is perfect

I spent the morning running around so when I got the chance to sit down for a few minutes and listen to this it really chilled me out and it's much appreciated. You have this style of music perfected, it's hard to find any flaws. From the musicianship to the mix, darn sweet!

You wrote that it's up tempo but man that back beat is in a nice comfortable zone, almost r n b feel to it. Great mix!

Thankyou Wayne, for the comment and listen. You know how some productions seem to write them self, this was one. And you're correct about the r n b feel at the second half of the track. I think up to that part of the track I stopped writing for maybe 2 weeks or so. When I got back to it the r n b feel happen. One of my main concepts of writing is don't force creativity.
