Damn, my friend, this is a very, very sweet rock track. Definitely have to fix the end, but it rocks.

Hey man thanks for the reply. What do you mean fix the end? I listened to it just now and I don't know what needs to be changed.

Thanks again.

Hey man, you did a nice job putting this together. The piano melody was sweet through this track and breaking up the drum beats seemed to work pretty good. Nice composition!

I must admit, I had fun creating this one. I wanted to create something that has a couple of pianos as the main point of the track.

Thanks again.

Nice. I agree with thyroid in that it does have a hip-hop feel to it, which is cool. Like the gritty guitar sound. Keeps it up.

Great music. This is one of those pieces that you could add lyrics and a voice. I'm sure would still be better. Anyway, it's a very nice piece.

Thanks for the reply. I can't sing so, that's why it doesn't have any singing.

Yeah man, Im feeling this intro. Gets you pumped for whats coming. The sounds all mix well. I like how you transition into everything. It sounds like your bouncing back and forth between ideas, like thoughts. I dig that the perc is unique. I think that at 140 it starts getting repetitive, so right there would be a great spot to throw in a breakdown.
Maybe single out the background synth and have the perc on a low bypass filter, then just slowly build that up and have the melodies come in one by one. should be like a 16 bar deal you know? make it hang there then just bring it alll back.
Solid work man, look forward to the finished vers.

Music4Life replied Unknown
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I had multiple ideas when creating this. I had some unfinished tracks and some beats that I created and I just add them to this track. I can see what you mean by hearing it again. I will keep that in mind for my next tracks in the future, thanks again.

This was quite a nice suprise to only hear percussion. I don't know if I'd have put it under electronic becos it sounded more like hip-hop to me. But yeah you're right, the beat's super. It might be nice as well with a little vocal to rap at certain points where the beat seems a bit repetitive, but that would be your choice.
All can say is that as it is it's a great production. Keep making more tracks like this.

Thanks for the reply. I had fun making this track. You said, “It might be nice with a little vocal at certain points”. That sounds like a good idea, just one problem with that... I can’t sing.

i agree with toony, sounds like the potential is there but it just sounds like an interlude piece of a song on loop, theres no hook.
probably best put this track in deep house or maybe even ambient

Um,

It's kinda like one long drum loop. What happened to the synths, bass etc? lol

Don't get me wrong the drums and percussion are cool. But it just sounds like to me this track is in the early stages of development... that's just me though :)

yeh, i never really listen to anything other than D&Bass/Trance, usually that is, but i read your reasons for this Tune,so i was compeled, to check it, & i am glad i did, it is indeed a very nice simple tune, & its very good that you dedicated the tune for your grand parents ,leaving ,,,, Ps tidy the ending up :) Jamie aka Tomahawk/Nad_ManX

Thanks for the reply. I needed to listen to the track again, to see what you met about "tidy the ending up". I can see what you mean but that.

Apace. Really interesting and good to hear. It's good, it is also a track that you can gradually add more instruments and sounds and plunge expanding. Good job.

Music4Life replied Unknown
Thanks. To be honest, I had to google Apace. I didn't know what that met. I wanted to add more but the beats that I wanted, made it a little bit all over the place.

Don't hear many ''percussion only'' tracks, but it works.Have you tried compression to tighten it up a bit and boost db's?..just a thought.Nice one.

Definitely a very sci fi beat! Could be categorized as cinematic too I think, as it sounds like something out of a movie! Makes me think of aliens too! Great work!

Haha trust me, the intro isnt even close to too long. I get crap for mine being too long all the time, and yours wasnt nearly as long. I like the sounds, its very interesting, i like the uniqueness of it. Very good as is, but if you were to make any changes you could make it longer with either a slow breakdown then fast buildup or vice versa, also the abrubt ending could be fixed. But its a great song, good job and keep up the good work! -Gabe

Peace Love Jesus!

the cool part of this is that the hip hop influence is in this rock track, real nice. I like the thunder bang in it, it makes it more darker
Music4Life
Music4Life replied Unknown
I didn't have a lot of rock beats so I had to use something that I felt good with. So I used my Hip-Hop beats. I didn't know if the thunder would work or miss it up, but thanks for your import.
