The realist! Honestly, your lyrics are always right on point-so raw, authentic, and filled with truth. What amazes me even more is the level of originality you bring into every line. Its out of this world, and it really sets you apart. You've got a gift for turning words into something powerful and memorable, and it shines through in everything you create. Keep doing your thing-you're inspiring

hello my good friend, thankyou for your words, you too are inspiring to me and i'm not just saying that as some follow up for yours, i like genuine people, you are a genuine man, i would never really listen to religious music but i am drawn to you, you are real you bring the same message and are clear about your beliefs, i try to bring hurt, thats just me, i'm busy working on 4 good stories the lyrics are possibly some of the best i've wrote and one is a collab with Cyber his music, i will keep doing it my way and i ask you to keep doing you, i commented on a great track you mixed for, i forgot but is was fire, nice to see U collabing the joy is so much better working with others because you have to compromise, because its about the track, not the individual, your a team and the big fella gets a mention in one too, i will be truthful, i only included because of my relationship with you and it rhymes and its a fire 10 words, and you will appreciate it more now i have told you, nothing disparaging either :) in-fact it was a must lol, i'm on your fresh later

U have a style all your own Paul. Its hard as hell to be original these days but i don't think it takes much effort for u. Especially when u blend so many types of music into your work. And u always make ur point easy to understand. I hope me and u and my brother can collaborate on something soon

sorry for the late reply bro, i've not been about much, thanks for the kind words too, as you know we all seemed to of had troubles the last 10 month, or our music behaviour changed and discord sort of stopped, but i'm getting back into now, new ideas and flow too, try keep watching, of course we will eventually get round to collabing me and your bro's only track we have collabed on done really well it was warmly received by the community and had a bag of listens and comments and i love a collab, so yeah we will, we were gonna do something on Discord if i remember, then things changed for me and i dropped music, so defo young man talk to your bro and tell himm to mail me some ideas and sample beat, i will then bring my ideas and we can create something fresh, couple of solo's each and an 8 bar killer each too, lol

Hey dimestop, great track - it's honest, with intent... I think your voice is absolutely fine here, it was the focus for me. So it shines through the music. It fits well and a nice clever message put into it. Well done

thanks bro, its funny because i do get anxious about somethings but not my voice its the one i've got, not much i can do, lol, i find it easier to sing or rap about something cos i god dam wouldn't talk about it openly, but your comment is nontheless inspirational, if people enjoy their listen is what counts. i'm glad you had a great one, i also see you have fresh up so i'll be taking a listen

Youre honestly one of the realest artists on Looperman, Dimestop, and it shows in your music and how you carry yourself. The authenticity you bring into your sound makes it stand out, and it's refreshing to hear something so genuine. Keep doing your thing, player-youve got something special, and I know it'll only keep getting better.

thanks for your kind words Richard, as you know i put a lot of work into lyric writing, lots come from personal experience or from close friends experience and i try to write clarity with subjects many can identify with easily and to be truthful as a young lad i was confident but not so much these days but being able to put my thoughts and feelings into song or rap, i can be heard because i probably wouldn't talk about things in a conversation and i'm far more relaxed about music too, ive spent quite alot of money upgrading lately and still have a few things i'm still planning to add, new midi and new mic, so you know my commitment is there my good friend, i'm hoping to improve more and do a few collabs, yeah bruv i will eventually do one with you, so we can show our contradicting beliefs in the best way explaining why we can believe differently but still enrich each others lifes :))
you carry youself well too Mr Shekari thats exactly why you have become a firm friend within the community, manners cost nothing but go a long way irrelevant of your standing in life and as everyone says the truth hurts

A great effort here Paul, you have approached blues in a very own way, which is the beauty of the things in music. I am sure you will discover more of the bluesy Paul, in the next song you will work on. I think it is a very succesful and personal way of saying what's in your mind and soul.
Best regards, Anthony

thanks for your words Anthony i'm always trying to stretch myself new genres as it is great vocal practise and i always try to write from my heart, i have so much locked in there and it comes out in lyrical form, as i probably wouldn't be brave enough to talk about things, i'd feel too anxious but i get my release from singing or rapping them and sharing them with my colleagues here helps relieve the stress i carry lol

You know what, man? Greatest voice or not, you're not afraid to put it out there because that's what YOU want to do. I'm sure you've noticed that there isn't a Valvedriver track on here with my voice in it. (There is one that exists, just not here.) So, there's that.
Tell ya what, though, you might do well to try Reggae. I mean, if you like Reggae, that is. Doesn't make much sense to do something you don't enjoy.
Either way, kudos to you, man. Keep it up!
Take care.

Aaron i have always loved your individual music talent and your support of other artists, i'm also sure with your skillset you could put a good vocal together and get it to sound on point, Reggae i love, old school more, and although i never ever sing in public not even karaoke when i was dancing on the holiday camps when i was younger, i did get up in one of the pubs, a little pissed and i grabbed the DJ mic and started to toast on smiley cultures Cockney Translation, showing my age lol, the places was packed, everybody started singing it back it felt mint lol the DJ said keep going the places is banging, my one and only concert only one track though cos i wanted another pint lol. i enjoyed my try on this

Hello Dimestop, hats off to you my friend for tackling this blues thing, its not easy but you served it up pretty well....the guitars and accompanying instruments were good and all I can say is keep at it my friend, its well worth the effort and its music.
dimestop
dimestop replied 25th Aug 2025 - 7 months ago
glenn i thankyou again for gracing me your time, i've tweaked a few things for a better finish and your spot on about it being a tough genre, especially singing wise and as i have no experience of Blues, i thought it was a decent effort considering the voice is forefront and open to critique, which i have no issues with either as long as it's constructive

FABULOUS title - says it all - love these lines 'truth costs more than comfort
but comfort's how I survive', lyrical genius. I like the Blues guitar and well done for expanding beyond rap and hip hop. Your emotion is so raw and you convey it beautifully. The story and the emotion are the important bits :)
dimestop
dimestop replied 25th Aug 2025 - 7 months ago
Kay before we heard you sing, you were and probably are still a poet, i remember Oli mentioning it, so you know how important finding the right words are, and then getting them heard as you want, i thought there was good emotion in this delivery and people tend to compliment my raw emotion, i don't really know how to do anything but, lol, thanks for your kind words
i've just uploaded a better master

Great effort, well done. I'm no blues fan, but I think this result is fantastic. Great lyrics performed by your signature vocals; hopefully more to come. And yes, the mix could be improved, listened to with headphones.

thankyou, i'm no blues fan myself really, its ok, but Rita gave me the spur to try it, i really liked the lyrical content i wrote I thought it fitted well, the mix and volume levels have now been altered and i'm much happier with it. thanks again for your inspiring comment, it does,t sound bad on speaker either lol

Nice beat man!
One smallnpiint you could think about: it feels to me the vocals are a bit overpowered. See if you can integrate them a bit more into the music? But it's great to hear again, you're growing so much as an artist!
dimestop
dimestop replied 22nd Aug 2025 - 7 months ago
thanks for the check bro, most people including all my friends loved this vocal its certainly not overpowered, the music is bright my vocal reflects that brightness, there is 7 layers of my voice on this all different not one of the volumes are above 43% and it measure -10 on the LUFS mastered -9 to -12 is what to aim for thats standard, my limiter isn't even registering nothing is in the red so i can't understand the overpowered, i'm good with it because all the plugins are in their sweet area not one is above 50% and bro i'm certainly not offended by your comment either lol, i'm just explaining what i can see on my meters and they will always be my guide because thats what they are made for lol

Hey Paul, I've always appreciated your unique approach to music. You create what you want to create, and certainly with your own specific flair that is 100% your own. I've wondered before what I'd actually call your style, were I explaining it to someone, but I haven't come up with anything that feels right. What does feel right is you being back and contributing your voice to the community again. Personally, hearing your work feels like being home. And this one does that for me for sure. I'd missed your fearlessness and the way u put yourself and your beliefs and feelings at the forefront of everything u do. Thanks for sharing bro. I applaud your sound selection here as well. Great work dude.

dimestop replied 20th Aug 2025 - 7 months ago
hello Aaron thanks for your kind words bro, i don't know what to call my style either, when i first started as you know, i wrote good lyrics but always sang them tongue in cheek, mostly rap but Manuela changed that and my mindset when she sent me Warriors, i started to take it more serious, stretch myself vocally and keep going, my timing was awful my voice was rag and then more coaching from Manu, i'll never be lionel Richie lol, but i know i've improved because even my kids say your 10 times better than a couple years ago, i'm currently working on 2, not in my DAW yet, but they all prepped to go, rap banger next, then a massive soul blues i'm excited about, inspired by Rita's attempt bro, im going all teddy swims lol,

thanks Anthony, your comment is really nice mate, you have always greeted me and my work with warmth and that warmth is inspiring to me and keeps me motivated in music, along with a number of others here i consider you an established artist and i'm just getting to know the new faces that joined in my absence, it is a little different and a lot quieter but i'm ok with that as i am not about as much as before, the electric guitar seems to be well liked too, thanks for your time bro it's always appreciated
