I really liked behind the mask. The lyrics do come from real life and that is what makes them so recognizable to our senses. The whole musical theme is very well put as always, so I believe it has been a very successful collaboration with Dustin.

what a treat, in my mind theres a modern Lou Reed but with better flow behind the mask im currently listening to. you always keeping the community together and you are not afraid of any genre. your style of writing is unique and seems obvious but theres another realm you are tapping in. i specially loved when you go stakkato in your flow. i listened to the raw mix and hell yeah, that mixer done a great job with this mix down. that made my day to listend to this version. love from a banana

the link you mentioned seems to be a generic one that points to the "channel overview" of the logged in user.
i proceeded to look for "lm" and "looperman" in the community/server search but nothing relevant showed up.

yes, important to clarify we don't want to replace anything here. but when i read discord server i immediately thought it would be neat to have a real-time chat or even voice chat to nerd out from time to time.
especially on nights like those when pulling an all-nighter :D (you're also deep in the night at the moment, no?)
or even play some games together!

don't worry about the server invite now though, surely you have more important matters at hand if you're still up - there is absolutely no rush.

hey Aaron (valvedriver), I wanted to respond, as well. I had the dry vocal mix, and I couldve done what i normally do with vocals, but i didnt want to lose Dime's signature and his echo effect, and Id have felt like I was stepping on his toes and what he wanted to do. with the fx as powerful as they are, i found that any louder and they drowned out some of the nuances of the beat, and each other in some cases. In the future, Before mixing I would approximate what he was going for, and then send it over for his thoughts. This was our first true collab and i took what i felt was the best overall approach. Its more on me than on him. I will say that not many first time collabs go this quickly and smoothly, and that working relationship can spawn some great things. Thanks for supporting Dime, as well as myself, man. - The other Aaron lol

What's goin' on, Dime? All is well I hope.
Here's my take on the track. First, I like how dark it is. But is that any surprise? I mean...I'm Valvedriver. Dark is what I do.
As a few people before me mentioned, the vocals are a little low in the mix. I like the delay on the vocals, but I think the feedback/mix levels could have been a little lower. That way it gives the initial vocal track a nice clarity, but not losing the "echo" effect. Think of it as a muted bell. When you smack the bell, the attack is super prominent, and even though you can still here the ring afterwards, it's quieted and fades out fast. The benefit of this is still having the delay effect, but not overcrowding the next few words. They come out much clearer.
Also, in doing so, you could bring the vocal volume levels up so they sit closer to the front of the mix without the echo laying over the top of everything, which ultimately would clutter it up.
