Beat is straight, I like it. Beat reminds me of that "Low rider" song. The vocal isnt right for this beat. Snare missin his bars. Then I cant tell if it was the rapper or what(as in he didnt write it to roll on a 4-bar beat. Song format). His style to fast. If you going to drop fast on a beat like this. Then you have to land the drum and snare in succession. Or add "tic tic tic tic tic tic" sound to beat.
You want original vocal for this? then send beat(no vocal) to keith89115@yahoo.com

This is a haunting track! Nice use of the pella! It sounds really good when the piano comes in! Drums sound a little hollow, maybe too much reverb or something. Overall, really good work!

It took a lot of listening to finally come to the conclusion that you are right. The first mix of this track had the reverb way overcooked on several of the tracks culminating in the hollow sounding drums. Pulled the whole thing apart and took off all the effects and re-worked it from scratch. I think the drums sound a lot better now. Thank you for having the nuts to point that out to me.. :)

@bcway, great review, haha.

I have to agree with him. I'm glad I listened to this one during the day, and not late at night. This has tremendous cinematic value. This is one of those tracks that I can actually visualize the movie scene just by the music....and that isn't an easy thing to accomplish.

This inspires me to finish one of my own cinematic pieces. Outstanding effort here and I love the mix on it.

I love the "live" feel of this one, sounds almost like it was recorded in an arena. You also used probably one of my favorite chord progressions.

I think she would love this one.

If is isn't cranked to 11, you aren't trying hard enough :)

Great work.

Hi,I enjoyed this track. Have to agree a bit with the others regarding the vocal but thats just my personal taste. Liked the reverb on the bass part, and the atmosphere and cyclical flow the track had. Well done. Album should be good.

Oohhhh. This is happening! ShortBus has called it - this really feels live, and organic. This is a real treat in the realm of DAWs (imo), that ability to create something that lives and breathes.

Well done!

This is an interest approach with this pella. Like you used a cut time for the beat in respect to the pella bpm. There ya go, 4 tracks.

I definitely dug what you have to say on the forums (full of crazies like me lol)

And I like what I hear, I definitely need to get a better system going, as I practically rely on my aged Audio Techna ATH's..

(I only listen to music thru headphones, I sleep with headphones on)

Still, I really like the interplay you have here,... It reminds me of PlanetJazzBass a little....
I always seek out my audio to have call and response (melodically and harmonically) and this has a lot happening rhythmically.

Unfortunately as a metal head, it's going to take more to chill my spine (call me spineless lol)

I feel.. like.. I mean, I DO NOT WANT YOU TO TAKE THIS AS DISRESPECT!!!! because I have faved this, and seriously thank you for the download.

But for me, I like SHOCK value. Things feel very fluid in this, which I commend you for, but I need just something to shock me.
Something violent?

Little girls giggling came to mind.
Screaching on chalkboards (done right)....
Keeping the idea of motion and fluidity, but also having this... HUGE like... ominous minor pad....?

Anyway,
I loved it.

I never take anything somebody writes in a review as a personal insult or disrespect. The whole idea of reviews is to get some feedback and grow from it. It's a good thing that this track doesn't chill the blood of every listener. It would be unnatural if it did. Thank you for taking the time to listen and give some useful pointers for the future. :)

This could well have been the track playing inside Rod Serling's head as he passed from death to some transdimensional realm where all is twilight zone fantasies were real.

Excellent work, my friend, love the atmosphere in this baby.
