Went directly to this track because of the title. For a while now I've been thinking of music itself (as a language) as an "emotional amalgam" or "aggregate." What you've done in terms of fusing genres and traditions really solidifies this idea for me.

I kind of had the same reaction to the beginning as Dextdee, but on the second listen I feel like that it adds a necessary tension that's resolved and is actually more satisfying that it would be without that initial sense.

You're right the synths in this are very beautiful! Nice progression and arrangement! I like the claps and finger snaps, they really bring the rhythm together. Very relaxing song! Nice work!

Blunts...this is freakin' amazing! Awesome 8bit tumbles in there. The melody is epic, I like when you thicken it up with the synth guitars. The production is nice and robust, too. Definately diggin the dubstep beat and bass (great wobble and tone on the bass, BTW) with all the trancy synth pads.... Its like cinematic dubstep. I like how everything kind of sounds re-sampled. Great work!

there was like one little wobble that kinda comes at you a bit more than the others do. dont know if that was intentional or not.

UPDATE (8-21-10)
right around 0:48 when the "WAOW WAOW WA WAOW" hits, the 3rd wobble comes a little bit harder than the other 3. sounds to me like you have a phaser on it and that might just happen to be when it swells out at you. which if thats the case maybe try soothing the phaser a bit. its nothing BAD that will kill the song, just something that happened to catch my ears. once again, keep up the good work homie!!

Love the energetic feel on this track! The synths sound great, and the melodies are awesome! Nicely created drum beats too! You have a talent for blending styles! I like this very much!

to be honest with u man when the track started i did not really like it, but after 30 secs when everything kicked in with the melody. so i rephrase, really good compilation here. and it is a big fusion of many other genres if u did not notice, sometimes i heard hip hop, sometimes i heard electronic and others
nice work on this one. i really like it and enjoyed listening to it.

What else can I say that hasn't been said? Scooby Doo scoops his own poo. JK this track has plenty of layers that interplay nicely, the chopped up filtered synth is sick, drums are insanely lovely, melody is captivating, bass line is subtle yet powerful (huh?), keyboard is playful around 1:30, effect at 2:15 is discombobulating, synthline at 2:40 is fitting. What a very unique electronic track you have on your hands. I like the progression from quirky synths into the electronic guitar. The overall vibe on this track is very chilled and sort of reflective. Would definitely jam this on Hippy Hill in California. Keep the music alive bro :)

Yep electronic is what I would say. I like the change toward the end of this. very unique style here.
