nice ideas brother...that top end of hats is still there a little too high but the track is great..loving the feeling and emotions you added to the track very nice...what software you using? maybe I could give you some pointers or send you in the direction of some one that could brother... nice track I enjoyed the listen just need to work on that production side... keep 'em coming brother
hey bro! thanks for the words. I'm really glad you like it! I use reason 5 and Cubase with buit-in and ozone plug-ins to master, but I have no proper headphone yet to see the differences. anyway I'll be happy if you can give me some pointers in the right way. cheers
Number jacks right. The drum lines you've laid down are amazing - just needs a little talking to on the eq and maybe another kick drum on top? same with the bassline.
some nice ideas here brother...firstly I would say those hats need to come down in the mix and your kick needs to come up... there is a general feel of lack of thickness to your drum track so maybe some layering would beef it up but having said that I do like what you've done with it...it drives the track along nicely...that bass line is nice but is hard to hear at times because of all the top end coming from your snares and hats...some nice ideas just a little thin at times...keep 'em coming brother
hey bro! thanks for your kind words. Thanks for the drum/hat adjusting advice, since I have no monitor to realize the slight differences. I'm glad you liked it anyway, and I'll try to update it.
cheers
nice track man, well done. I like the pad in combination with the synth and the piano, sounds great. Really sounds like a winter track, icy, lonely, chilled out, nice pace.
Dunno why, but those chants remind me of the film Emerald Forrest (check it out if ya haven't already). I agree with Blume, in that I could easily see this going in a few other directions, remix-wise. Something kinda dub-stepy or whatev. Only suggestions I could make are maybe makin the second set of vocals lower and more pronounced to punch out the bass on 'em (and maybe adding a bassdrop or bassride along side of 'em or right after to kinda mark a new segment of the song). Otherwise, cool stuff mate. Lates!
Dunno why, but that guitar riff sounds really familiar. Has a really cool matinee vibe going on. Like it reminds me of a mix between Dusk Til Dawn and Up In Smoke. This'd be great to play while cruising around the beaches or what not. Nicely done mate. Lates!
Hey man this is pretty cool. I like the tribal chants and that instrument sounds like a clarinet or sumting. This could be turned into a reggae fusion breaks track with that sound runnin thru out the track. I like it man...keep up the good work sir...Blume:)
thank you bro! im trying to play with that sound at the moment. make it more delayed and echoed, and i change its locations. make a try how it sounds. if its more enjoyable i'll update it. thanks for the words and your time. cheers
Simply jammin track mate. I love the dreamy quality of the vox paired with the bouncy synth elements. Gives the track great contrast. I also really love those effects ya threw onto the synth stuff on here. The only thing I could think to suggest is to- Make eet looonger, holmes. Haha, seriously cool stuff mate. Lates!
thank you my friend! i'll try to take your advice and make it longer:) im really glad you liked it. i appreciate your great words, thanks for them. cheers
Nice, waited for a minute for the change but once received it was awesome, story telling ironically it sounds like someone is shedding their past and morphing into something great...thats the image that comes to mind, luv it
nice one! its exactly what i felt when i made this:) im really glad you feel the same:) it feels now the story has been told:) thank you very much for your time and for the great review. cheers
reminds me of a track ive heard of before but i cant put my finger on it. a new version of it though. very well arranged. i like the way you added in a whole bunch of different instruments
I like it its different,Im a writer/ spoken word artist,Im managing my sun who would kill this track. What ppl in the U.S. need 2 understand is that sounds need 2 be eceletic, innovative such as this.I bet in Europe this would get lots of luv...Thanks for sharing.Bless
Nice man...I could def rock this while driving to the beach with the sun setting in the west...This is on the lighter side indeed. I like it. It's got a good solid sound with a nice touch of atmosphere. Good stuff man...Blume :)
