I'm the same, not a big fan of dubstep (ish) but this is more refined with a super bass sound backing it. Personally I would limit the harsher sounds for a "chorus" but nevertheless it works well.
THIS IS SO SICK MAN I WAS WONDERING IF SOME HOW I CAN DOWNLOAD IT PLEASE I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO USE IT IN A MASSIVE SCHOOL PROJECT WHICH WILL BE VIEWED THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY AND I WILL POST YOUR WORK UP FOR IT AND SHOW THAT THE AMAZING SONG WAS FROM YOU SOOOO CAN I PLEASE
love for this one! In progress? WOW can't wait to hear what it sounds like when it's finished because it already sounds hella amazing. The melodies in this are very catchy. There's only a few sounds I wouldn't have preferred as they have been used before in a lot of tracks, but the way you handled every instrument- every sound- and made it blend seamlessly is fantastic to me!! Vocals were also mixed exceptionally well, not taking away from the music either
Thanx, that means alot to me. I am new at producing dubstep so its really awesome to get comments like this. i have worked on it some more... see if u think its better. i named it calima
this is damn, catchy.. agree with the vocals, coulda used more mid-low, but whatever, the flow is cool.. reminds me of 16 volt or someone. good song structure n shit !
ps: if you're still editing this song, I can do that chug chug riff on a real guitar if ya like... be alot thicker & wtf.. lemme know.
But if it was me, maybe ill find another snare(it sounds like a techno snare:P)
and I dont know how to do it in live, but in FL you can add some swing too your drums...to give it a more loose feel, like a real drum-kit.
Hence the name 69 Khz.. its the kind of bass that you feel more than hear.... u need good subwoofers.... i appreciate the feedback tho.... and perhaps i was erroneous w/ the description... sorry
From being one who went from industrial to Mozart i must say this sounds extremly fun. Be proud of your sounds.. but, its a difference when something sounds "filthy" and something clippes out of the recording (Dont get me wrong, filth is good). The heavy bass sounds like its way of the charts and could use a compressor or at least some normalizing.. Other than that it sounds lika a true bassbreaker and I would definetly play it on my own pa-teys.. ///Dec
thnx a lot! :) and yea (sigh) i can never tell because of my speakers but i'm finally getting some KRK's next week.. and like it said in the the description, it's not finished, check it out when it's done. I appreciate the feedback .
I like what you have done with this so far, keep going on it, the beginning was fine imo. Are you adding vocals, I think it would really the track stand out.
Great song man! The beginning was, in my opinion, the best part. It feels as though the beginning of the song was faster than the rest of the song (could be my mind playing tricks on me), and that was what really stuck out to me. Keep up the awesome work.
Catchy Tune, Sounds like a South X Southwest song. Very MGMT.
Add some more Lower/Mid range to your Mic. Like 500HZ get some bottom in there, bring it up in the mix. Especially if you are Layering (very cool) Nice groove.
