this track is like a magnet it keeps bringing me back, its just awsome good vibe, went night fishing last night and found myself singing the words, i like the autotune, keep up the good work
This is pretty good, like the feel to it. It needs a change and some vocals, hope you find the time to finish it up. Mix sounds good. Great track to have with my morning coffee, getting me in the right mindset!
Well I had the same sentiments on the auto "tune-off" But I just woke up and this was the first thing i did, after making coffee, which i am waiting for...This put me in a good mood...I like waking up and being put in a good mood! thanx!! I favd it for other moments..p.s..congrads on your newborn! peace
Well, I like the sound and rhythm that has this track ... so I just tell you: continue.
Another thing: if you listen to many times as you like is enough to make the song.
I really like the sound of this so far and hope you continue to work on it til it's finished! It has a really relax vibe to it, the beat kind of takes the backseat to the actually melody, really nice track so far!
Thankyou, good old 'controversial' Autotune, lol, I will definately have to do a version without just to see how it sounds at least. I need to get a decent vocalist to do the job pehaps. Nice to hear from you :)
Thanks dude. Yeah, i'm going to mix/master it asap, need to give it a bit of life. Gotta agree to disagree about the effects not being for music like this. I totally get why some people really don't like it but I do think its more just personal taste, as opposed to the effect not suiting the style of music. Appreciate your feedback though. :)
Ah thanks John....finally someone supports poor old Autotune lol :)......to be fair, my hubby is a reggae Artist and I know alot of serious 'Reggae' listeners and they have all said they like the effect - modern Reggae is very different to what Bob Marley, for example played....it can be quite electronic nowadays so it's all down to personal taste I think. Thanks for you nice comment. :)
i actually like your voice, but i gotta agree a little less auto tune, or even smooth it of if you can if your gonna use auto-tune. but i can tell that the vocals raw would probably be alot better. theres lots of heart an emotion, and i think you really executed adding vocals to music nicely. this would make pretty good for a demo track, if you ever wanted to get signed or something. i really like the accompany music, its kinda cute and really exposes the emotion that the lyrics convey. not really my cup of tea but i like it, faved as soon as vocals came into play ^^. great performance and all around a great "feel good" tune. this has to be one of the best track's i heard with vocals. the vox go great with the music, and i didn't feel that one element was too overpowering over another element.
a little tip though, is to mess with the eq on the vox, and increase the higher frequencies, or even see if you cant use an exciter vst-plugin. what it does is "excites" high and low frequencies. if you apply that to vocals, it will sound very professional. the one i recently downloaded is called "X-cita" its pretty basic, not the best one in the world, i would recommended looking for a better one if you can. but as far as basic and free goes, it works. and the best part is, is that it's so easy to use you don't even need to have any prior knowledge.
any-who, like i said before its a really great track, and vocals are done nicely, but i'd like to actually hear your real voice i bet a million bucks your voice isn't half bad :)
Ah thanks dude - thats really encouraging, yeah thats part of the reason I was using Autotune because I just couldn't get the voice to sound 'professional' - if thats the right word for it - you know what I mean, like it just does sound like it's flat and dull. I gotta learn how to mix it down right so I'll definately take notice of what you said and have a fiddle. :)
