glad you like it - if you can do something that would be great, changed download so go ahead, just keep me posted and send copy to me before going public please.
If you need anything else contact me.
I have listened to this track several times trying to work out what it is that doesn't quite fit together for me. I think it's an issue about what key the vocals are in the the dominant chords in the backing track. They appear to rotate between Am and Dmajor. I have had a quick listen to the acapella by MuzicIzMee4Ever and (I could be wrong here) the dominant chord is Dm7. I think this might be an issue. Hope this is helpful.
hi richie, thanks for your time to listen and your comments, as i dont read write or recognise specific cords or notes, i cant pick out exacly what you are pointing out - i do all my music by ear and try to blend the loops and vocals i find in the most pleasant way possible that i hear for myself, it may be my ear is not as tuned as yours and i really do need some proper music teaching but with limited time and money never have had the chance to pursue this option, however as a hobby its good fun and thats all i aim to achieve, if anyone else likes what i do thats a bonus. much respect and envy to all true musicians i can only wish ! - will look up your stuff and see if i can learn anything - many thanks

its catchy - i like as is but would also be pretty cool if you added a solo over the chords after the vox - perhaps a saxophone or a trumpet would be neat?
hmph, this one snook right by me. me bein a vocalist i would have liked to hear the vocals blended a lil more with the music but i love the music you got goin on there! the violin adds a nice touch here.
thanks for your comments glad you like it.ive tried to smooth the whole tune out but keeping the vocals on top, a more polished version than my previous which on carefull listening was full of high end distortion.
your voice is so full of character i didnt want to lose it. - keep the accapellas comming there are so many good tunes built around them.
cheers
Hey I like what you did with the loop. I used in in a song I produced as well, only thing I went with a little less pop influence. However, I lost the loop when my computer crashed. and I wanted to remix the original track. Do you think I could get that loop some how? Keep up the good work.
really digging the melody/s running through the track - i humbly suggest the drumline might be played with a little - it's a great rhythm that could appear in dif ways under/within/over the music - much respect!
Yeah, it's good on your part... like you say the autotune needs to go,maybe get a version of the acapella without it? I really don't like that effect. Shame , bet i'd like it otherwise.
Thaks again Johm, it was much easier on 3 as i didnt have to keep rebooting the pc - the tune just flowed, i was very much a novice then so i did a lot of cut and paste to repeat sections and structure the arrangement, used the zoom a lot to get the timing right, i think it took me almost 2 months befor i was happy with the end result, worth it though, i still play this in the car now.

Wow coming from you John that realy is a compliment, this is a track i did quite a while ago with a very basic collection of loops supplied with Ejay 5, i used acid 3 cos ejay kept crashing my pc, just pieced together as it progressed into a pleasant tune
Many thanks for your time and comments - ps i was brought up on the High Chaperall with Manolito and Victoria ! ring any bells ?
thanks, i resisted the usual uptempo pop mix cos thw voice was so gentle, still working on the arrangement to make it more interesting, will post when done.

Very nice song! Were the original vocals already autotuned? Melodyne could be a better choice to tweak the vocals.
The song itself needs more variatons/fill-ins, I suggest.
It's a good song, though. cheers
thanks for your comments - yes i agree with you - still working on the arrangement, the original was sung with autotune, ive tried to smooth it out as i would prefer to work with the native voice - will keep at it, the girl is a new member "brittanylauren" and this was her first posting so i hope there's more to come as her voice seems to be quite good underneath.
well my hat is off to you on the creativity and she has a wonderful accapella here and a wonderful voice - the melodic structure and delineation does not actually line up - but its unique and does sound neat - it would be great if she wanted to slightly alter it and sing to the track!
I think if she did that then the song would have potential to be more "memorable" but as it is the juxtaposition of the melody doesnt quite work out for singing along.
Nice job with what you had to work with!!
thanks for your comments - only wish i could get her to sing to the track but this accapella was uploaded in 2006 and i dont have any further contact details to send a request, however i am still working on it and will try to perfect the track, i love your music and lookour for more tines. cheers
