The best piece of advice I can give you with this track is don't mess with it too much. So far you have a great little piece of music. I'd make it a bit longer, with a nice fadeout at the end, maybe a dramatic bridge or middle eight, and leave Dodge.
cheers john, have mot got back to this yet, dont aim to do much as i dont see it as a vocal piece, made it as a ringtone for a friend at first so i kept it short but will stretch it out a bit and end it of nicely, as far as it goess i like it as a simple tune so wont be changing much.
thanks for taking the time

It was well aligned and well produced but, in all honesty, I don't think the vocals were right for your instrumental track. Perhaps this is because when I listened to it I could imagine a male singer with a particular voice type, possibly towards the bass range, but not too bassy. Bear in mind, others may have heard just the voice you chose.
Still, the track is a good track and it demonstrates well your proficiency at producing music. Love the instrumental ;-)
hiya john, point taken - im not sure about the vocals myself but it was all i could find to dub over it to see if it would work - i have a few lyrics that i wrote but nothing concrete yet, they are more of a power ballad type song with some really stong links to the verses - working on the music for now to fit around these then figure out how to put that together - i dont sing either! huh some musicians son eh !
cheers

This sounds like an awesome backing track. Leads, yes, in a few spots, but vocals would make this baby. Seriously, this is great. Vocals, a bridge, a bit of a lead and a good fade out would make this an ass kicking track.
wow you are fast - only uploaded his a moment ago - glad you like it, i think guitarjocks loops with the right backing are great, i added 3 not 2 drum loops and a split bass loop, i did have a piano melody but couldnt get the right match, - if you check out my profile you will see i cant play any instruments so i have to rely on ears and my gut feelings, dont fully understand song writing so any help would be great, ps, my dad did have a number 1 inb the 60's and did a couple of albums so you can imagine my frustration !!!
