Thanks man, got to love the bass in this. Came out of nowhere really lol. IU may still add a vocal or two. We'll see. :)
I'll check out one of your choons!
Steve
Hey man, thanks for the kind words. I just love making deep music, I guess lol.
Hope you're well!
More choons coming soon!
And I'll check one of your tracks out!
Steve
I think this is awesome my friend. It's not the type of music I make, but it's the heavy DnB that I enjoy listening to. I think the heavy beat is fantastic.
Some great ideas in this piece and makes for a great listen. The arrangement and production sounds great to me. It sounds like a lot of work has gone into this piece and it's definitely worth it.
Bit of a nod 2 the old skool with that hi pitch snippet over the break... love that sound, so damn well mixed, got me envious, envy's an ugly emotion ,or so my mum said!Damn inspiring stuff I'd liken it to Stakka and Skynet , trust me , praise indeed .... finish it!
I can hear the similarities, thanks for the comparison, though I had no idea who they were up until a minute ago when you told me, haha. Listen man, practise making something that you like: if it feels bad somewhere or lacking something, DO SOMETHING TO IT, I remade, stretched, distorted, phased, unisoned, eqed, and many other things to that bass before I went anywhere. I wanted it to rock it at the second drop (with an awesome drop yet to come). Just remake it if it doesn't seem right, let your ears talk to you and your soul do the rest. :)
Tis what I do.
ANwyays thanks for the words, appreciate it man, I'll check out one of your tunes. :)
Steve
Lol, you love them screeching sounds eh? Well this is actually being mastered as we speak so I can't, but I appreciate your enthusiasm to better this track, thanks.
wow awesome track till now :) like the banging bassline, wobbling like hell, and your mastering is pretty good! finish this track and i will surly listen to it :)
Cool key treatment ya got here. Very spaced-out (in a sci-fi sorta way). As for the name, it reminds me of my track, Blood Pressure (has a similar vibe too, but the beat isn't as traditional as this one is). Sorry if that seemed like a shameless self-promotion (wasn't my intent). Just found it oddly similar is all. And you can never go wrong with getting a strong sounding name when you use medical terminology (even the crazy Latin stuff sounds cool, like, say, Vena Cava). Speaking of which, I think its a very apt name, because of the way the bass sounds all squishy like a pulse. Anyways, nicely done mate. Lates!
Thanks bruv, names are hard to come by these days that catch peoples ears. THough, have to say this is an old track and forgot it exsisted lol. Self-promotion is fine :P
I'm thinkin that this is Drum-step. Course, as I may've mentioned before, I'm not an well-informed consumer of either Drum or Dub-step. The bass is def dead-on from what I know about it. And the only thing I could think to suggest is to bump up that "whoa-whoa" sounding synth you've got on here (as it sound killer if it was louder). The synths on here remind me of NASA stuff for some odd reason. Anyways, cool stuff mate. Lates!
Hey man, thanks for checking the tune, this tunes instruments were actually from another track. Though it came out nice, there's a bit too much bass with the kick being so low and long. I'll check out a tune of yours mate.
THanks again,
STeve
Yep, this is def sick. Though it does seem to be comin out a lil hot in the mixdown (hadta turn my speakers down a lil, just FYI). Which is a shame coz I kinda wanted to blast this (for full effect). Will say that that bass ya got on here is thrummin my sub though. Could only imagine what this'd sound like in a can w/15's (take yer breath away, maybe, haha). Am diggin the synths too. Cool jam mate. Lates!
Thanks for the review man, it's been a long time since I listen to this. It's a nice reminder lol. Thanks for the words man, I'll check out a tune of yours!
Steve
woow man awesome professional tune! love the dark vibe! reaaly diggin it keep it up! for my opinion the bass is maybe a bit too small and not too much in your face donno
ioka flow
Thanks for the words man, and I agree the bass wasn't what I wanted it to be (though wait for my upcoming track, it has a real nice up in your face bass). But when I produce music I listen to the tune real loud and real soft, it sounded amazing loud, and was at a good level when soft. If the instrument is loud when the music turned down means it'll be too loud when the entire track is loud. But yea, I agree with yah and thanks again,
I'l check one of your tunes out,
Steve
nice i like the laid back ambient intro then the work up to the main beat and when the main beat comes in the sub bass just moves along perfectly it felt good on my speakers but when i see you post a track i know it will be a good one this is well produced like you said when you reviewed a track of mine one time you said that its best sometimes to keep it simple. and it does not get more simple than this very inspiring stuff bro nice track keep them coming and fav'd for sure
Thank you for your kind words man. I haven't forgot about the music I've been a little busy as of late. I've done what I've wanted to do whne I know someone is inspired by a track I've created.
Thanks and I'll check a tune of yours! :)
Steve
not a huge fan of drumnbass but im a big fan of this! Love the beat, real old school. The only thing is, the snyths dont change enough for me. But thats also partly why im not big on DNB.
lol yea, there's a lot of variation in DnB out there. Some of it is amazingly composed and can be very beautiful, others... not so much lol.
Thanks for the time, and remember this is just a preview, label required me to shorten it, but thank you nonetheless.
I';ll check one of your tunes out!
Steve
This is very sweet, glad I gave this a listen! The first dnb song that I've heard that came with a more subdued approach. I don't listen to a lot of this genre but I must say this is quite good, imho!
lol I hear yah on that one, most are hardcore because they're considered rave but then again DnB is also a really great background sound if it's used properly.
I'll hit one of your tunes up!
Steve
I love smooth man, and thank you for your words, they're encouraging. If I can inspire others to do better than myself then I've accomplished something great!
I'll hit one of your tunes up!
Steve
Man i turned this one and my head blew up,
what a crazy intro, i love this style of drum and bass its so much dirtier, youve done a nice job on this one mate
Thanks guy, I love spacey, dirty, and gritty DnB... though, this is a preview because of the label ordeal, so take it as a preview, you may like this part but every tune I create I try to make both drops different. Glad you enjoyed it!
I'll hit one of your tunes up!
Steve
Got to say how much i enjoyed listening to this chilled track. Sometimes d and b tends to be all about the aggression and it's great to hear a mellower approach, will crank it up and listen when my son's not sleeping and tell you more thoughts....
Glad you enjoyed it man, it is sometimes tough to make the simple yet mellow/laid back tunes because they take a while. Though, honestly, this took less time than most of my tunes.
Some people say that DnB is good for children they like the fast pace, lol, I dunno.
I'll hit one of your tunes up!
Steve
some really nice stuff here brother... I'm liking the whole laid back feel to it...
for me though theres a touch too much reverb on some elements it kinda leaves them feeling like they're part of a track play in another tab I've got open...if you get what I mean...
I do like the track don't get me wrong the drum track and the bassline are fantastic... I would have liked t have heard a few more of the other elements..
Could you email me and tell me what elements have too much reverb on them? A few I could think of are the Pad and the Rhodes.
A few things I wanted to do was add another drum loop/track to give it more flavour but as you can hear it does sound nice.
I did add a few things (effects) so give me a shout as to what you think of the additions. :) Thansk for your words man! Appreciate them!
I'll hit one of your tunes up!
Steve
Glad to hear you're taking a liking to this genre; really has some amazing features to it - as does most music lol.
As for the track, I wouldn't say it's amazing, it's got it's features but I do enjoy producing two drops within a tune, makes it so much better man.
I really appreciate your enthusiasm towards this track, helps a ton man.
I'll hit one of your tunes up mate.
Steve
Thanks man, hi hats are actually synthetic, Kong's hi hat maker in Reason/record 5/1.5 is quite amazing. But thanks for the work man, this is one of my best.

ok i kept my ears peeled for you completed track. damn sick bro the mastering is perfect i love the sick bass parts it still go's with the whole i would fav it again but i have already done so lol but this is a nice track overall stunning effort keep them coming
Thanks man, took forever to finish, but overall I enjoyed the process. You know the feeling where you've heard the song so many times that it sounds dull and boring, well i was on my way there - thats why i had to take a break lol.
Tracks' to be released on Extent Recordings soon.
Glad you liked it, I'll hit one of your tunes up mate.
Steve
ok like the drums en hats verry nice en clean great jop on that
nice spacy sounds not realy my style but nice don
the saw sounding mid bass thing i dont like muts it sounds a but to durty en i think you can get muts more out of that over all i give it a 9.2 :) keep it up i like to hear more :) that a good thing...
Thanks bud, this track took way too long to finish. lol I know, I love the atmospheric spacey feel to DnB it offers.
I love dirty man, filthy, heavy and rough all something I like to hit in DnB.
Glad you liked it, I'll hit one of your tunes up mate.
