Absolutely well mastered!
There are a few offbeats where samples where 10th of ms to short (1:42). But anyway its a really great harmonic and powerful tune to listen to every day.
(Continue on this)! :-)
Would like to hear this on large PA!!!
Have you thaught about adding _light_ doubblebase to get the kit sounding fuller?

Interesting to hear this! It actually does remind me of something a stripper might dance to, though my only reference is from television and film. I was trying to wrap my head around the tuning that you mentioned... since it sounded like the standard six string tuning, aside from the flat. Do you mean that the high E was flat, or do you mean that all strings were slightly flat from 440Hz? I did a song on my last album which was standard tuning, but to 432Hz, so I was curious if it meant something such as this. It was funny when I did that guitar recording, I finished the orchestration much later. Wondered what sounded off about it, then I remembered how I tuned the guitar! Adjusted everything else to match (praise the gods for synthesis), and then it sounded good again. I don't know, just wondering. I like the vibe of the track, even with the short length. Nice work!

Thanks much appreciated! I have tons of archived material that I am giving away here looperman. I rather it be available to every artist use to in their craft than it sit in an archived drive or the three cloud servers I have them on.

I usually hate auto tuned vocals but these are okay. My biggest complaint would be the drums. Pretty bland. I think better drums and maybe some tweaking of the mix could do wonders. The solo is pretty good and fits well. Just my 2 cents.
Nice job though.

Thanks! I always welcome criticism on my work. Drums could have been better but when limited to beta monkey at the time we do what we have to do. It's why I use addictive drums now. The mix was really just general default use of waves ssl stereo vst. I wanted to keep it raw and garage band style due to what I was hearing in his vocals.

Nicely done! I'm not much of a rocker but this is pretty awesome. Could you point me to the acapella?

Thanks! you can find Kyle Monroe's work here http://www.looperman.com/users/acapellas/258805 he is on sound cloud but, I never see him being active even on there. That is a sad thing, he's talented

Thank you! I appreciate it! Apologies for being belated in my response. Been a hell of a week, had jury duty... no joy in that at all! I hope to have more to offer with using other's acapellas on here. I never cared about self promo just an undying love for music and doing what I can to help others hearing their acapellas with music.

Very cool stuff madman!

Guitars are sharp as knife and the groovy is rolling too...honestly, I heard some pella from Metaled but my opinion was always like hmmm...:-)
But this is bloody brilliant...
Side note: to be more heavier once halve the drum to be doomy...:-) Well?
Handshake, Danke

Hiya Danke!

The trick to many pellas is bring forth what you're hearing from it. When I hear Metaled's Swamp Rat is was instant in hearing how I would wrap music around his style.

Thank you for the compliment as well.

I used Beta Monkey double bass mania 2 on this one. Just unfortunately when loops are not done dry especially Beta Monkey they get mushy and muddy when you try to doom them out through FX and EQ. But, now I have addictive drums and both of their metal kits so I'm good to go for real!

Thanks again!

Hey madscape, nice to have another rocker join the fray.
Pretty sweet rhythm track you've matched up nicely with Metaleds' pella. I dig the lead as well. Yeah Metaled has a lot of great material in his repertoire. I have downloaded a few of his loops and vocal tracks but like Katz, haven't put them to good use yet.
I like your heavy styling man and will definitely be checking out more of your tracks asap.

Hello!

Intro guitar almost doesn't sound like real guitar. Reminds me of Bon Jovi. After that it sounds much more natural.

Heavy parts are heavy, nothing really new going on. Choppy rhythm guitar from 1:43 on sounds a bit tinny and thin. I like the orchestral elements.

I like a lot of your lead tones as well. Their tones make the rhythm stuff sound lower quality.

I see what you mean when you say people tell you that you sound like a mix of artists. The chugging stuff that I'm not too fond of reminds me of Coheed and Cambria's "Welcome Home". Your leads were a bit gilmour-esque, but with a touch of EVH.

Stoked to find another guitar player on here. I'm mostly a bassist but I do a bit of everything, like you.

Hope you don't mind the constructive criticism. It's what I appreciate about this place the most. Honest feedback.

Take care, and it's good to meet you.

Evan criticism is what I need! Nearly all of the tracks are years old and sat on my drive collecting digital mites! I don't get to do much of on my own work as I would like to. But, I hope to put some new tracks up soon, plus I'm learning how to do it all kind of thing without producers and engineers doing it. Tracks like My Mission and Swamp Rat both were done early January this year. I really enjoy your tracks as well. You color wonderfully and that is rare within itself. And nice to meet you as well! -Mark

on Goodbye to You by madscape
Hello!

This track has some awesome guitar work. The lead tone is fantastic! Minimal and tasteful.

Track sounds like it's hitting a limiter really hard. Snare hit drops the volume of everything else.

Nice flangey rhythm guitars. Bass is all background.

Would be great with vocals. Chorus sounds A LOT like the chorus to one of my tracks. Hangin Round Aceldama.

Good piano outro, though the piano sounds pretty fake.

Only complaint is the maxing out of the drums.

I enjoyed this quite a bit!

Thanks Evan! I appreciate any criticism, it's what makes one thrive to accomplish good work. Yeah, the drums were beta monkey and sadly not one series of theirs is equalized as a standard. I eventually went to addictive drums :) I'll be releasing alot of back logged tracks and anyone is welcome to take them to a new level. I hate seeing them just collecting dust on my project drives.
