hey man good choice with your speakers obviously not cheap bet ye man if you invest in a sub it'll give you the full round house spectrum of where frequencies need to go and how much using low cut, high cut, low pass filters and high pass. i was using just my speakers as refrence for making music but never could get my levels right, best way to test levels is to complete a track, export to usb then put it in a good home thearter system or good car sound system running subs, and compare levels to other peoples music, or the radio, preferably stuff youd normally listen too and genre's you make, anyways hope to of been of help, be blessed
hey there nice approach, groove isnt in your face, its almost suit for chilling out background music, would be great for restuarants, bars, parties, even for the car, great mix, regards and respect
Cheers mate, its was a remix of Right Here, another of the tracks on my page. Out of interest I run the krk rokits too but without the sub, is it worth getting it, I like my bassline..
Dirty, just the way I like my dubstep!!! hell yeah, it's got that, " I don't give a ****" attitude to it! Nice mix...perhaps some more switch up or break down though, got a bit repetitive at 1:20
Very nicely done, i like everything but the bongo about halfway thru the song, but at the same time, i don't think i'd have the patience to make a track this ill! Great work.
definitely a nice piece man. good production, good overhead sounds. great d&b backing. faved no doubt...if you wanna collab hit me up with some beats and I'd be down to do something philosofistmusic@gmail.com
As with most dubstep, I feel like a lot of dancers would have fun with this. I think you could add some variety to it by adding a drop and a break down. Variety is the spice of life, after all.
whys it not downloadable man lol. this is nice , defo chilled with the kinda breezy pads , nice variation with the drums man, this is the sorta music i would like to listen to when im on hold .good track , RotenBeats
lol, I only leave them up for dowmload for a month, just to see if anyone likes them enough.. thanks for the review, if you want a copy I'll enable the download or send you a copy, let me know.
Thanks for the nice review, and for checking out the tracks, shame but the singer has gone into retirement but I live in hope she'll be back one day, lol.
Def has a nice dark vibe goin on. Kinda takes a minute to really pick up, but once it does, whooo boi look out, haha. The only thing that I could think to suggest for this is to expand it out & make like a mini-session (say 15-20 mins). Coz this just has that feel to it (like it wants to be longer). Beyond that this is nicely done. Keep bangin on mate. Lates!
Nice work man. Very chilled! Love liquid DnB. This track reminds me of the ocean (EDIT- just realised the track is called Oceans! :D). Nice pads and use of other sounds. Bass is very smooth an calming. love it
I love the liquid chill flow in this. I Definitely got some practice to do...lol...Sick riddims and arrangements. Bass has a nice low end too... Dope production on this. Yeah hit me up when you get some vox on this. It doesn't need it but it would give it a lil more life. Dope track man!!!
If no one contacts you, check through the acapella section, you might find something there. Of not, but you hear someone whose vocals you like, contact them and see if they're interested.
you can also check out ccmixter.com, they have a ton, or at least used to, of acapellas that you can use under the creatuve commons licensing agreement (no different from here, really).
Have you thought about contacting one of female vocalists about the possibility of adding vocals to this track? Very well doen piece, my friend, I very much enjoyed listening to it.
Hi John, thanks for the review, I don't really know how to go about doing that, I have asked before for vocalists but no-one seems to come up with the goods. Got any ideas?
