Oh yeah, this is funky.
Made me wanna use my Marvis Staples voice. Loved the bass and the groove (all except a small part at about 0.57 until 1:08, but then the true strength of the of the song kicked back in. Good job.
Hello wikkid, I'm glad I could "take you there", I'm new to the DAW game I'm a Audacity kid so I'm kinda like a kid in a candy-store with all the options available in S1v4 It blows my mind. Once I figure out how to properly use this DAW I hope to be producing some funky tracks. Thanks for the comment.
What's up Bilbozo, Thanks for the comment. I've been a big fan of your tracks since I found Looperman. If learning how to use this DAW doesn't drive me insane, perhaps I'll be cranking out some hot clean tracks like yours.
PEACE
Thanks for the comment, I think it's kind of ironic that I was just today putting together a track (in my head) that sounds a lot like your "unnamed instrumental". I was thinking about a loop that sounds like a clock and a alarm for the beginning of the track. Then using the tic tock as a layer in the background. Thanks again.

What's up jamid, thanks for the compliment.
It turns out that I was starting my tracks out with the master volume too high. I've had this pointed out to me more than once (I think I'm going deaf). Also my PC is crap. I got this Dr. Dre Beat laptop by HP for my daughter. You would think it would be good for music listening and recording.Perhaps they have a high end model that's better? I got some Bluetooth headphones for more freedom only to find out it's not Bluetooth ready#$%
Cheers mate.
Something I'm having to work on myself as well, but the mix might be too loud here. I like the idea as a whole. My favorite moments are at :55 and 2:25.
Thanks for the compliment royalnation, I'll be glad when I can get the kind of separation, expansion and compression I want out of my mix.You have it mastered,Folded Time and Not of this World have the kind of sound I'd love to be able to reproduce. I guess it will just be a matter of time and practice before I can produce those "Flawless Flows".
