I'm from this old "80's" time that you speak of.
When my grown kids ask me about some of the remakes I just tell them "Daddy did it the first time around"!
I remember this well cause' my band had broken up and started regular day jobs but a few months later the leader of the band called me from out of state and said that this music inspired him to play live again and would I join the group...I said yes and we played out the 80.s....until they came to an end...and we did make A lot of money from the songs,including this one!

I hate Flashdance, I wretch at the very sight of those cheesy 80's films that blighted my teenage years. Flashdance, Dirty Dancing, Footloose.... you know the score.

HOWEVER...

What you have done with this track is quite honestly amazing. It sounds so crisp and I commend all involved within it. You have livened up an old dude here! I may even go out and buy some legwarmers and lycra!!! :-)

You should send this off, if you haven't already done so, you would be crazy not to. Excellent work and very professional.

Interesting use of the vocals of the kids. The track sounds good and it somehow reminds me of a few artists in the trance area, probably has more influences in it then I would have expected.

Not my cup of tea this genre but a fabulous effort.

My friend, nice piece, very different then your normal style, but still a enjoy listen, nice vocals, might check out her pella's, thought might have heard a click or two on the pella's?? not completely sure my friend, only one or 2 clicks at the end of the pella, more so when she says music,might be the way she says the ssssssss's, good beat and bassline mate, again as always nice synths, apart from that minor detail, really enjoyed this one...Peace n Respect mate....Estefano...

loving the tribal type of beat and the beginning, again as always very nice synths used, miss kays vocals sounding good my friend, sweet pads matey, even at a slow tempo still has a good drive to it, with the beat and bassline, clarity again up to your normal high standard....adding to fav's brother....Peace n Respect....PS been watch a few of your video's on youtube, very good work there too my friend, hoping to load one or two myself over next week or so...Estefano....

Hey JW...big sounding tune you have here man!..Stephanie's pella fits perfectly,I'm not usually an Autotune fan but because of the instrumentation happening within the track her voice effectively "plays" itself seamlessly...a very "up" piece that's way enjoyable..careful or the cast of Glee might rip it off! lol(it does have a commercial sound,which is a very hard thing to achieve believe me,I've never been able to do it!)...excellent production! cheers Dave :)

This has an awesome bouncy beat! The synths are very cool and creative! Those pads are massive! The piano was a welcome addition to this mix! This flows so well! Nice mixing! Great work! Faved for sure!
