This is great, I'm just starting out making breaks (loved making trance to much)and have quickly come to learn that it is actually quite difficult, but you my friend seem to have a great grasp on this genre!
Maybe because breakbeat usually has vocals and its kinda hip-hop-ish. Personally i think this is better than all the breakbeat songs i've heard but i have only heard a few. And you're welcome, good songs deserve props.
I put this under the breakbeat category and you are the 4th person to call it DnB. Guess I crossed over to another genre on this one, Thanks for the props man.
This was a great mix, nice vocals with good effects. Please check out my song "Keep It Movin" I'm a teenage producer and I need all the reviews I can get!!
This is a great song. That one sound thats panned all the way to the right though is kinda annoying. If it was in the middle and idnt play through the whole song then it would be perfect. Besides that i think vocals are great. You did a very good job. Thanx for sharing ! ! ! I liked it a lot.
The Vocal bits art from the movie District 9...if you haven't seen it yet you should, it's such an amazing movie.
Anyway...
Thanks for the props...much appreciated.
Play 2 now...
I think the slow build into this track really works. Dunno if I'd classify this as traditional 'breakbeat' though. Perhaps Tech-Glitch (shrugs). And as for the lyrics, I dug the effects that ya had on 'em, but think they're kinda iffy. Don't get me wrong, I think they work perfectly with the way they were mixed into the track. It's just that I dunno if I fancy them. Somethin just doesn't agree with me there. Maybe if you allowed 'em to stand nearly isolated on their own (with maybe just a little bit of synth stuff to accompany 'em). Okies mate, I'm headin outta here. Later on!
It reminds me of something that'd play if I were in deep concentration, like a thinking music. The vocals come in nice and you arranged this nicely even though garageband can be troublesome to use (I also use it), nicely done
I am glad you like it... I also like the word Eclectic to describe my music.. I think I will use it as well :) Thanks again for the acapellas I will look to your profile for future songs as well.
