Don't have a clue what Kanye sounds like! But this is different, I enjoyed it. Liked the beat, unusual vox and instruments in a way too.

As I have no idea of what a Kanye beat is I can't really make any comparisons or comment on that aspect of your description of the track.

I do like the drums and percussion, not your typical drum kit. The horns are expressive and they all work together nicely. There's certainly enough interesting bit going on!

Yes! I was definitely looking for something different with the drums but the horn and the brass are definitely my favorite part of this.

As much as I would LOVE to take credit for that, I only wrote the melody, that wasn't me singing.
But I started taking singing lessons this year to make sure I can deliver like that as well! Coming soon.

Holy crap, that's awesome. It's depressingly awesome, in the sense of: why am I even trying? Next level awesome.
The only thing I can think that might improve it (maybe) is that around 3:00 I sort of expected you to pull out all the stops, and make the last minute a real climax. I think with that, you could actually have a monster hit, and I'm not kidding. Thanks for posting this here bro!
