Absolutely love your avatar...that's what caught my eye and led me to your page.
This track really is funky and u and your father in law are obviously ultra talented!
Great guitar work with a perfect balance of accompaniment.
It's not a genre I'm usually in to but this is outstanding!

Add my voice to those cheering in the background. Love the sound of the mandolin and harmonica on this one. Done live too! Altogether, a very nice track.

Nice, someone else who plays mandolin in genres other than bluegrass. Cool laidback tune.

CalifKen's advice is solid on the percussion end. That addressed, you've got a real winner here! The dance between the guitar and harmonica is really fantastic! I'm certainly going to be checking out more of your work - thanks for sharing this!

on watch the river flow by mandolinmatt
interesting use of panning and vocals!! i like this. i really like the track. If anything, the drums at certain points sound a little too unorganic for the sound of the rest of the track. I think if you had some different drum sounds with some more swing and variation in velocity and timing, it might sound a little more cohesive. But good work. Very chill and bluesy. Love the descrip too how it was written by a river. Wait now I got - I was thinking you were being metaphoric and saying that the river wrote the song, but you actually mean you wrote it by the river. Which is cool, too!! :) he he. Cheers.

And now for something completely different......

How many different samples are on this track?

It's interesting and I bet it took a while to put it together.

This is funky in so many ways! hah! But seriously I love the dirty sound on this track. The flute (or whatever it is) is way cool. I can barely understand what the vocalist is saying. Nice one!

I've got to admit you may be right, it made me turn down my speakers. But that said I really like it. I'm curious what went into making it. The messed up voices around 2:00 are totally nuts! I've never heard a song like this. Thanks for sharing!
