so, i like it. the singing isnt maria carey, but its good. i think what makes this seem so unfinished and 'raw' would be the beat, honestly, everything is dope, with the right instruments and mixes anything will sound better. KEEP WORKING!! we all are -CAP
Personally, I think 1:00 is begging for a solid Lo-Fi drum entrance, but it depends on the mood you're going for. If you want to keep it minimalist, more intricate guitar during the chorus would greatly increase interest. It's difficult writing a song for only two instruments and you did a great job. If you want, you can contact me with your email and stems and I'll work with you.
wow. amazing track nln1 your voice is so great , the vibes on this track are insanely chilling loving the slow pace - you made such a good track sincerely. would love to hear more
as far as your topic. we all got bullshit, you trapped the vibe perfectly i would say. things change but yet remain the same - wish you well
I really love your style, so free and light. The sort of unfinished, unpolished, just sitting around playing vibe is such a joy to me! Love it! :-) I need all them gems you got laying around! :-) And of course I LOVE acoustic guitar!
Hey nln1. This song is has some amazing melodies and you have a low but smooth voice that work really well. Sort of like Jamie XX. I hope you expand it further or offer us some more tracks in the future.
Hey Nil, cool track bro. I dig the arrangement and think you got a pretty tight mix. Its got a nice tropical reggae vibe going on which is nice. Of course since you asked for feedback and/or suggestions, we would like to offer some up. Joe has about as professional of an opinion as your going to get around here so I definitely think he is right. Even the best mix will not make the grade without some good mastering. After listening a few times I'm wondering if you may have some side chaining compression going on. I say that because I can definitely hear the kick effecting the other instruments. Side chaining is a neat effect and very popular in electronic music to accentuate that beat. It's not that hard to do but it does require a certain amount of understanding and knowledge to get the right effect and desired end result. A botched effort can and will essentially wreak havoc on the dynamics of your track. If this is in fact the case here you would need to check and adjust the levels on your kick compression buss. If you are side chaining using filtering or maybe have a compressor or limiter on the Master Track, the same rules of thumb apply. Those adjustments are very critical. I have tried some side chaining in the past and I can say that it takes some effort. Mastering in and of itself requires a good ear and the more you learn and do it the better you will become. So yeah, another once through here to lower levels, fine tune eq and/or dial in that side chaining effect should make this sound even better.
I like the guitar play a lot. I hear so much potential and ideas. The kick seems to be off sync around the 1 min mark. I would add some fender rhodes chords to compliment the guitar. I wish I could play the guitar like that.
Digging this one a lot! Nothing major that needs changing. Sometimes less is more. Although, I do have a couple ideas, I can throw your way. lets collab

Hello, I would add some jazzy hi hats... couple of piano notes here and there, and maybe a bass? Sweet track!
williusu is right on the slidings of the opening guitar but later the situation is settling and the whole song become a superb production...vocs are stunning, was that you?

Frome one AX player to another, Thumbs up on this nice jazz guitar work. You have an excellent jazz guitar sound. PEACE. T576 OUT.

The effort is there with the singing, that's what matters. Could be worse, it doesn't sound like lady gaga or taylor swift. ha!
Sometimes less is more. I don't know if it needs any more music added, maybe some more giggling. ;)

Love the simplicity here. Gives room for vocals to shine a bit. Maybe bring the volume up a bit. Please keep polishing. :-)

I'm thinking ambiance in the backround. A cool field recording made by yourself and cut it at 1mn !
cool sound and guitar riff

Love the vibe. Vocals are really cool, but would have loved to have heard you maybe belting it out a little more nearer the end as it built up.
Really nice sound though, love it. Thanks for sharing :)
