I'm not generally a fan of dubstep as I find it quite unmusical and boring and often annoying, though I accept that it is very powerful.
This is pretty decent and not annoying. Gets more musical in the second half.
That snare in the first half seems to be some sort of compulsory snare in dubstep. Does every single dubstep producer use it and does it have a particular name?
I like the guitar that comes in on 1:28. It's quite subtle but definitely makes a difference.
This is good work, as I'm sure many others will agree.
Aw how delightful after a hard day's work !! ...
This track is pure class, Sir and very professional-sounding ! I love the "real instruments" feel .
Thx a lot for this great moment,
Bravoo,
Janis ;)
You don`t need anything thats not here already BigPete...This is just dm good the way it is....really enjoyed the listen..I could stand a lot of this kind of music....well done....Ed
Only 3 comments? Hell...
For me - this is one of the best track in the last 14 monthes I take part here. 5 minutes journey in REAL MUSIC. Hats off...
I feel with you to lookin for maybe vocs (collab), but man, this stands and sparkling alone. too... :-)
Respect, regards, DL, Danke
thank you so much Danke, and if you feel inspired to do vocals please do, I can even adapt the mix to leave more room for a vocal performance, thanks again for your kind words and taking the time to review the track I appreciate a lot.
Big Pete, You are the man. I got seriously lost in this track. I was suppose to be doing some work, but man I clicked on your track and Thanks was it. This is a great track, great work done here.
Love the mix. Thanks for sharing and keep them coming.
lol, sorry about your work, but thank you so much for your kind words, I was supposed to work this week-end to but this track just possesed me, so now I work late on a sunday night, thank you for taking the time to feedback, peace.
BigPete! haha this is one of the best mashups i've heard, makes me understand a little more. i hear both neighbors/songs doing different things but i grasp both their concepts at the same time as they come. i think im gettin it. anyway i love it!
I've listened to them both after I did my version, it is a different artistic approach and it's perfect like that, it is a forgotten concept that a song can be may different things, my version will not appeal to all I'm sure, I'm just glad it appeals to you.
Been a while since I stopped by yer page. How've things been goin for ya amigo? Stuff's cooler now that I graduated (but I still gotta go back for my Gen AA Lib Arts stuff so I can transfer up).
Anyways, let's check out this track...
Cool vibes here mate. And I can see why ya chose her vox, coz they seem painfully playful. I like the way ya took this in a different direction (most stuff I've heard with her so far has been Pop-related). Def diggin the horns here and the key treatment (bass/leads) is prolly my fav parts of this. My only complaint would come from its (slight) brevity. I'd love to have heard it for like a minute longer, but that's cool. Sweet vibes mate. Lates!
Thanks wanted to do something real roots, and Kooder made me a great gift with his lyrics and vocal performance, thanks for taking the time to review I appreciate.
Pierre. This ska gem had me swaying. What a great groove, it's infectious and very tight. You really know how to mix a good time ! I have to fav this one. Great work with the loops by Slap on the Harmonica too. Cheers - Bilbozo
Hey Bill, thanks, you know BigPete is about having fun in life. What the hell you're doing up this early, lol, me I'm at work yes on a sunday the last week has been crazy but fun, thanks again for the listen and review my friend.
