I love this and it goes strait into my iphone so I can enjoy this one offline. You, sir, are an amazing musician and I wish I had your skills. Fav and dl after only a few seconds.
Damn, you're good.

Well, I never been to Cairo but I kinda dig the girls there. I'm sorry I haven't noticed this track before. Nothing bad about it. Perfect mix and a cool keyboard bass.
Wonderful piece, which makes the walk more enjoyable city. Great sound mixing and all the necessary incentives. Wonderful changes and use of instruments. To me, a masterpiece of Symphonic Rock.
This is very well recorded and sounds great. Good job you guys, great vocals, very well done. jfw...I've listened to a few of your tracks and all sound great to me and...keep up the good work!
Jamie, as always multi-layered, multifaceted - too many interwoven themes to count - complex and friendly - wonderful music - awesome economic stinging leads
jfw this should be considered to be pop, rock, fusion, chill, rapped up in one.you wore this track out.some of the best stuff ive heard on the loop to date.got to fav and download. PEACE. THE MACK MAN OUT.
How is it I never reviewed this one before? Arrgg - too many good tracks to keep sorted out in my mind, and why I probably shouldn't lurk-listen as often as I do.
It's all been said here, so I'll quote some Rumi instead:
"I know in my mind a Secret Egypt that doesn't exist -
Is that good, or bad?
I do not know."
Best kind of fusion available - and really like that guitar! Adrian Belew/King Crimson nod perchance? Lol - the guy with the KC avatar (don't know about you, but I like Adrian's music better before he became born again.)
Hiya Sean,
Nice quote! ...and I think Egypt (recent events aside) either real or imagined is good!
I didn't know Mr Belew was born again - Ununless of course the reference is a metaphor? (lol).
Forum thread announcements about other peoples' work are the best plugs possible. Really glad Estefano pointed the way here.
Wow. This is so polished, and powerful musically. It's got all the best things that good collaborations can do. Creativity bouncing off each other and amplifying with each ricochet.
All I have heard versions of this song have always been good, because the song is wonderful ... but this version takes the cake. It is very complete, still much more work, a lot more good times to enjoy listening.
It is difficult to make a good song ... but more difficult is to make it better. A wonderful job. Can I put twice Fav?
I can definitely hear both of your influences on this one, which makes it a fun ride! Your guitar work really stands out as usual! Those beats are wicked too! Great production and mixing! Well done guys! Faved for sure!
Thanks SpivKurl! It's great fun doing something with someone who operates in a genre I would never normally do - makes for an interesting "hybrid" sound.
subtle cultural transpositions alluded to and magnificent instrumentation and production.
i've always told Gord he's the greatest singer that doesn't sing - Chris channels him to an uncanny degree.
this works on all levels, i love the approach you take in setting this song. this is a palette only you could make sound right for the song. as always, Jamie, my respect
Hi Jamie,
I followed the link from the forum "wow what a piece" and I have to agree.
Everything about this piece is quality! Production, arrangement, musicianship are all bang on...
Thanks for listening & commenting Slap - much appreciated! I'll be checking your page to see what's new with you too!(loved the "KInd of Blue" covers you did previously).
Man what a brilliant piece, sensational intro, stunning piano and fx, nice beat, has a very much oriental sound about this one, which is really appealing, amazing clarity my friend, brilliance with the vocals, Chis Charle's very good voice, very pleasant to the ear as is the whole piece of this track, stunning work again my friend, massive fav here...Peace n Respect Jamie and the guys in this excellent collab...Estefano...
