i like this beat.. i'm wondering how you get the skipping kinda sound with the drums? i've always been curious. like the samples too.. good use.

Nice bass and that vocal sample is spot on always was a sucker for a good bit of dialogue! reminds me of certain tunes from 96 period in vibe and simplicity.Maybe the snare could be swapped or layered slightly but thats nitpicking. like it

if you put Miles and Bitches Brew in a description you will get my attention for sure, very esperimental in the structure and arrangments that Miles would approved I'm sure, this reminds me of the sound of mant artist on the Ninja Tune label, again love the mood and production of the piece kept me interested throughout, great piece.Peaci Love and Freedom to think Miles was Miles ahead even on heroin.

loved the track, the mood and groove, great production, smart use of voice samples, the drums are really nicely mixed, just think this is a very well crafted and entertaining track and you can dance to it, lol.

Loved the vocal sample, and love the movie it came from. I could see this track used in the movie. A little slow to start off but when the pad kicked in it gave a nice overall melody, work on the transitions in the track, overall nice work!

Keep Rocking

Thanks again for reviewing my track a few days back. I really like this one. Reminds me of some of Beastie boys' instrumental stuff from the Ill Communication/Check Your Head days. Will definately be checking out more of you.

that leed synth is sick, but its kind of all over, i bet if you spent some more time with it you could really slam this one down bro.

word.

tighten it up, less of it, or improved timing? is it the delay that is the problem or more the randomness, i guess is my question?

those are the two things that immediately jump out at me. thanks for the words though.

I love the melting pot of modern and traditional very well done, bop my head along to the frantic beat (got neckpain now) my only comment on what I think is a weak point is about the guitar solo, not sure it works but the rest does.

thethirdfigure replied Unknown
it's a really legit point...something about the solo instantaneously loved when i heard it....now upon listening to again...i'm not sure.

i want something there that's very melodic and upbeat too....if anyone has suggestions i'd love to try and fix that part in there.

Hi there,

First off, thanks for reviewing my Metal Highway song.

I like your arrangement of this tune.
Sounds like you made good use of the loops available on here.
I haven't yet myself as I use loops along with my own playing of 6 instruments.....altho half of them are for country music.

I'll try later and listen to this tune on your Myspace page.
If you couldn't upload it here, then maybe it reached over the 7 MB limit? You could make the file smaller for here by changing the bit rate to 128 or smaller. 128 is usually the standard for web sites.

Anyways, nice job on this tune.

Whoa....wicked!..I can see we're dealing with an altered musical conceptualisation here...lol...I really like the morphology happening all through this piece..there's a real method to the madness and it shows great control...the ending was a bit abrupt but hey..I got my money's worth!...creative...cheers planet :)

nasty work on this track, i love it. the bassline is ridiculous, and squarepusher is a great symbol for the presence this song gives off. i love the bluegrass feel as well. muy bueno!
