welly well..this was a pleasant surprise!
the drum pattern is sublime. i really dig the simplicity and repetitive vibe of the low C-D keys. i think you can have WAY more fun with the high D-E-F pattern [delays, sweeps, even some flange might give it some eeriness to compliment the treatment on the vox]. you do have a lovely build up and drop [you know me, i always love a dramatic drop, and i know you can have some real fun playing with that on this track]. your synth accompanyment is great, and i wouldnt be afraid to "uumph" it up a bit, either with volume or with another synth layer laid on top of it.
my only real "criticism" is the vox and the piano are in different keys [holly is singing around an F#]. so i would suggest simply transposing your piano arrangement[low C#-F#, then high F#-G#-A]. thats gonna make a WORLD of diffence to the overall cohesiveness of this really wicked, haunting track youve got here.
it was so refreshing to hear something a bit out of the box for the dirty Suspekt ive grown to adore. keep it up! you know i'll be listening...
Yes much apreciated oasisduke your reiews mean alot as always enough respect going out to you. All i say is keep it locked for more tunes to see the capability and versatility that Suspekt Number1 are capable of, thank you for being a fan and keep following because watch this space! again enough respect goin out to you.

oh you naughty, naughty cats...this is special. i want to talk about how sophisticated slick the use of tempo shift is in the intro; you create a beautiful uneasyness with the 'synth' - as it sounds like it might be off tempo - so the listener anticipates the beat drop, just to see how the hell itll all fit together. then you accelerate it, and drop this classic quick drum riff...made especially unique by the kick following the synth melody for the four count. it jack hammers the melody into your brain stem...LOVES it. great breaks and drops thru out. you know i would love to hear that wobble you introduced toward the end [maybe givin a dubstep break by slowin down the beat and makin the wobble the star for bit...only a tease bit, tho..then droppin the uptempo beat and bringin everything back to close it out]...it adds just a touch of grime to this adrenaline piece. i gotta hear it on some good speakers, instead fo my shyte headphones for more comments on production value and mastering, but it sounds pretty damn good thus far.
really great work, guys. keep em comin...you know i'll be listening.
well, you two certainly have some stank youre layin down, dont you? i love love love this track adn am not at all surprised if people went nuts for it in a club. i know i would. sick bass, sick beat, sick accents and breaks...
...just plain sick.
youve got a new fan and please tell me tehres more where that came from.
i want it...all.
;)
Thank you very much for the top notch reveiws its nice to see some one likes it and has time to review, but who am i to complain lol i havent reviewed anything in a while, ill have to do some tomorrow,
Thanks again
i covet how you handled the vox on this wonderfully mixed track. youve got all the right accents, the bass sneaks up on ya, then starts pounding away at ya [which is exactly how i like it]. the drums and various breaks are amazing.
this is def a fav and i would download it and bump the fu*k out of it if youd let me ;).
mad kudos and cheers!
i knew it was my preset! i instantly recognised it :) hehe its good to hear people using it!
The intro is great, Im not sure about the inter-changing snares, but the actual drum pattern itself is good. I would compress the bass drum somewhat, its quite muddy as it is; And as for the synth, experiment with some distortion on it, just hava go, it might be crap it might work well, but dont turn it up anymore, and also, Im not a massive fan of the bass line you have going there, I would spice it up a bit. Although, having said that, I dont know how I would.
Your song is very cool dude :D , it feels like I wanna walk on a tower , I don't know why :)) , with what did you do the wobble ? It sounds good , Keep on rollin' dude ,
The wobble was done on a vst called albino3, i used a preset i got off Chud but i changed it slightyly, you should check him out hes on this site Chud37 thanks for reviewing mate glad you like it
Peace

Hey the track was ok but it was kinda dull.Try amping it up a little.Make it come to life.I just sung this in my head and it has so much potential. This isn't me trying to be harsh but to be real so u can become better.U got the sound so i know u can be better.Keep at it cause i expect to here more from u soon.Dueces.
The drum beats cool, I think maybe it needs something else, Like a little snare or hihat just before the actual snare you used, its hard to explain, but i can show you next time your online if you send me a sample of your drum beat. Regardless of that the drum doesnt change an aweful lot, as nice as it is, maybe that would spice things up a bit? Although I have to admit that in the past people have said that me and I havent wanted to change the drum beat in that particular song, so if thats not what you were going for, then fair enough :)
I liked the whistly thing in the background, its not too loud but just loud enough to hear it okay. As for the Bass, Well it definitely needs spicing up a bit, the actual sound is okay, But it is repeated quite alot, and it sounds like you've used just two notes, and they are always a bar long. This is another reason im quite against fruity loops, it just isnt veristile enough.
Otherwise quite nice. I like the background ambience. It certainly does remind one of nightmares. Lookat me speakin all posh.
This track definitely has a nice roll to it, definitely a dance vibe. I think the only thing I'd do different is use a slightly different piano sound, cuz it sounds kinda old school midi. That's just personal preference though. Nice work! Thanks for sharing!
Alreet mate, after your review i thought i'd hava look at some of your newer stuff, and im quite impressed! I see you didnt do the vocals but aside from that, this song is actually very good, It could do with dubbing up a bit though i think, put some good bass in the background, i think, maybe in between the trance bit? but I can tell your learning quite alot, compared to your first stuff this is very well produced/mastered. Well done :)
ow do mate .. i couldnt do the vocals even if i had tried my hardest lol, sound for reviewing and yeah have learnt alot since coming on here finaly started to take music serious rather than just messing with it do you have msn ?
