Very twisted in its sound, which is why it works so well. Unless I am mistaken, you have a banjo (open back) playing as part of the track, which is obviously not an instrument you normally hear in rap music. I'm glad you took the chance and used it, because it definitely works. Well done on your efforts and your track.
Very nicely put together.
Obviously worked on and not just thrown together.
Great atmosphere to it.
Was it a tense atmosphere or was it relaxing?
It somehow seemed both at the same time.
The word anticipation comes to mind.
Yo that auto tune line was ILL! ha, I didnt know you had flow dude, thats cool. The beat is cool, I like the easy vibe it has, its not to pounding outta control and your flow put the beat to rest and calmed it down so keep it up. Cool to see you back on here, I havent heard a joint from you in a while but keep it up kidd, peace

Thanx, this will sound much smoother once I actually get to the studio on some professional equipment. The mic i use at home is for rough drafts and things of that nature.
Yeah this is cool, those horns are dope kidd straight up, the sounds you used in this joint was different and cool, the snare rolls keep it alive and pumping and switches the mood, nice job man, fav this joint, peace

Definitely feels like there is "something" missing but this is a great track and you laid down such a sick foundation, you can really have fun with what to add to this. Some horns, another bassline, some keys...possibilities are endless.
But as I said, a sick foundation. That wah-wah guitar is great. Reminds me of some Get In Where You Fit In/Cocktails-era Too $hort track done by Ant Banks. Props man.
Loved this one. Great job. I'd just let it ring out a little more at the end. Wish you had it for download. Kiddin' I just responded to your post. I'm with you on the downloading front.
reason is one of the illist programs ever! this is the realist track i've heard today, just so sick wit it! fresco got some good stuff goin, oops it sounded like you miss hit a key, lol but its dope anyways!
Im feelin the rap part. the beats weak but thats where i come in. check it. feel free to rhyme on 1, i just want to hear it when its finished. got about 20 more im trying to give away.

That banjo sound is actually a pizzicato with a highpass on the EQ.

This is not my kind of music, it seems; well constricted.
Sounds brilliant too
Well done
