this track is going to come out lit!,it's sad how things go wrong but on the other hand its a good thing that you're putting this together for that cause keep it up bro, i like the piano and its emotional fill; yo can boost the mid freq a bit on the piano and then the vocals like brado said, has effects something like a flanger or pitch effect. it might not fit in well with the mix so its best you go back to the raw vocals and use a reverb on it and a bit of delay for balance not too much delay though....cheers brother!

Good message, a little bit too much effects on the voice for me. The piano is emotive and I dig that, and particularly appreciate that you're speaking out and trying to make a difference. Keep it up.

Nice chill flow man, a lot of melody in your voice. I do think it has to much fx, just my personal liking, normally prefer natural voices.
You could seriously get somewhere, seems to me your tracks would do well with the mainstream community.

The highlight of the song for me was definitely the lyrics. They are very soulful, and it fits well with this beat, the second highlight being the piano. On top of making an emotional track it's mixed well too. Very pleasing to the ear. Awesome work. Where's the full track?

The simple chord progressions compliment your lead vocal, why not have done the 3rd or possibly the fifth harmony on auto tune and then mix it down above the other below your lead.In mixing vocals you will need to normalize tracks, and use a graphic EQ, use the female tracks sparingly, less is more, accents on Chorus, also try a step up in the chord and answer your lead and chorus with a melody that ties the 3 together just to break up and add transition.in response to your review on "TRAPEZE"I like color and levels with one lead instrument, the piano is the layer of color and the synth the lead, maybe I should have added a drop off of the lead if you are using it for vocal and rap.1st time I'm putting up a music track I have hundreds trying to stimulate comments, Thank you for yours the key is D at 120 bpm.

Hey man great song. It shows an understanding of the art of music and how to use it to convey a message artistically. I love the duet interplay as well. Good work. One critique I could think of is vocal presence. I also dealt with it at one point and have worked on it since. Obviously this song calls for a more soft voice, but you can still improve the richness and quality of your vocal. Ways that I've improved in this area are things like face stretching and vocal warm-ups before recording. Also, the expression that you have while recording helps also. Like smiling while recording reflect a more rich vocal as it invokes additional emotion that cones through to the listener even if its on a subconscious level. Overall great track. Keep it up. The small details will improve your artistry, it certainly has for me.

Not my jungle this but one criticism is the heart beat at the beginning ... I'd make that longer fading out and behind the piano. Sounds to abrupt just finishing like that. It's very well done very smooth and obviously way to short just being a snippet. Sounds cool though.

as for the song, I like the piano ALOT sounds really clean and professional and the lyrics are actually about the state of the world and real shit which to me is what hip hop is meant to be about ! so big respect for that

only critism I have is make the vocals sound cleaner, I could hear most of every bar but it seemed a bit cluttered with fx that's all

First off, I like your message, vibe and what you are trying to accomplish. Not your typical rap tune here, as well as the last tune you posted. Since I am assuming this is in it's early stages...the piano fade in after the "heart beat" intro is a little awkward. I feel it doesn't need to fade in at all...just come right in...don't beat around the bush. As for the vocals, you don't need all those wishy washing effects. A solid, almost dry vocal will go a long way here. I feel you may be a little gun shy about hearing your own voice. Don't be, it's pretty good. Let it be heard and understood.

Hey man, I listened to it several times, as you asked here are my thoughts, not necessarily in the correct order of things :)

This short section of a song definitely is interesting, I hope you'll post it here when it's finished. I have to admit I did not understand all the lyrics, but I get the sentiment of it.

I love the intro, it is a really cool melody. I don't know what you planned for the rest of the song, but maybe this melody could make a return somewhere in the song, to break things up. Just an idea, as it is really nice.

I am not going wild about the drum sound, I prefer real drums or, if this is not possible, I would use drum loops made with real drums. But I realize this is not always possible, plus probably many people will say they love your drum sound :) It's really a matter of taste. Keep at it, I look forward to the completed track. TG
