Great voice Sage...I have to agree with you,I think acoustic songs are best when they retain their original form (not that there's anything wrong with expanded instrumentality)..it's just that in it's pure form your voice flows unencumbered over the guitar allowing it's full emotive impact and reflective nuances to shine.....a sublime talent here I think, wonderful work...cheers planet :)
Hi Sage...cool! the bass line you've dropped over this makes for an intense experience....you've made the whole thing into a mega groove loop!....great finesse and feel ..cheers planet :)
Your voice is realllllly nice!! i love the tone you got..its really soothing!! i bet your two year old loves you singing nursery rhymes with a lovely voice like that :)
Great melody throughout! Im looking forward to hearing more of your songs
Ok I reaaly love what you do as an artist and would love to collab on something, I like the emotion quality of you voice delivery, if you hear anything of mine you sould like to add spoken or sung words to it please feel free and contact me. Peace Love and Freedom from your neighnourg up North,
I'm one of those that has to...eh, live it and be real. This song was inspired by an ex, and Nine Inch Nails' Great Below (I think that's teh name, I just sort of throw in the CD and let it go).
I tend to be on the lacking end of time, but may be able to do a little here and there!
love the arrangments and chord progressions, very musical in a rhythm base environnement, very interesting texture, sorry for my english I'm French Canadian. Salut mon amie des États-Unis.
OK I'm sold, love your voice and emotion, song are timeless you can write a great track at 16 or 50, I would love to work on this and create arrangments for it, and please feel free to do anything with my track LFN (Looking For Nirvana), write lyrics and a melody I can rearange the track to highlight your melody, I'm open to anything. Peace Love and Freedom to create at any age.
It's amazing just how many hidden gems are to be found on this site! This is certainly one of them. There's a certain folk sensibility behind this that really delightful, and your guitar work and voice are spectacular. Any new releases in the works?
"Ninny" is one of my favorite words to use in an insult, so I had to have a listen. "Ninny Pants Dance" is a compelling title to be sure! I really like your sonic sensibility with this one, and the panning of the electronic sounds works really well. Really catchy rhythm. Good use of 'noize,' too. Knowing that this was to be a loop for a podcast kind of makes it hard to find suggestions for revision - hopefully it worked well in that capacity. Nice track. Cheers.
I love it! I can't believe you did it one take, that's excellent. I know you said youre a purist (as am I), but I would like to see if I can't add a little percussion and/or drums to it. This would all be acoustic drums, just as I record my bands. Any way, it's great, keep up the good work!
Ay! I like this very very much! If you want to record this again Id say sure but this sounds good as is. I really want to do some work with this, drums bass piano etc. If you are cool let me know. I got another track I recently did similar to this with a looperman user named ALittleFoxy check it out. But yeah, you got a great voice! I play guitar myself so I really dig the arrangements you put together. The acoustic sounds great? I love that nice rich sound you get from acoustic guitars. Kudos!
Thank you very much! I'm finally replacing the guitar I have (which won't stay in tune long b/c it's broken), and I hope to record some more stuff as I write it.
