When the vocals started, I thought there was an Ad playing on my other tabs xD
Nice bar lines, I really wanna go out and find some awesome rap bars like on this one!
And damn! The beat dropped hard on this one! The fast percussions, wobbles, growls and those sick beats really makes me enjoy it. It's a VIP, so this would surpass anyone's expectation
Thanks, the bars are from the Here It Comes sample trap soundpool for MAGIX. I used some of them in the original Raster so I decided to center the VIP song around the full selection.
I was inspired a little by All Is Fair In Love And Brostep for the structure of the vocals and how they're arranged.
So I like the idea here and great job with the work you've done! However I do have some pointers to forward you production capabilities. I don't usually comment in depth analysis but I'm feeling helpful today haha
1. Flow: You seem to have to concept of flow and song structure. I like that you have a synth that gradually builds into your drums and vocal mix. You also have distinctive turning points throughout the track that establishes the build, drop, breakdown, and end. I'd suggest smoothing these transitions slightly more to give a much better flow to this work.
2. Key signature: While listening to this I noticed NOTHING fits in key and this also impacts the flow. I also noticed that you used many loops from off here and it's great to use Looperman as versatile tool in your work, but you have to be careful with the different keys. Make sure that if you are going to use synths and vocals in unison they fit well together.
3. Mixing: The mixing of audio files could use some improvement, but the main focus should be on the key sig. and flow of the track. This is a personal preference but I am a fan of "ducking" or also known as sidechaining your kick to the synth it is playing over. Also make sure that each frequency range is well balanced meaning there isn't too many high mids or lows, and that they all balance together for a nice and neat mix. Dubstep is a tricky genre of EDM to mix and master because the tones and frequency ranges are exaggerated and pass many boundaries in respect to other electronic based genres.
Overall nice work. Once you learn the basic concepts to the structuring and arrangement I have high hopes for your production skills, I hope to hear more!
I love the song, the only thing I'm not too big a fan off was the vocals. Not that they were bad, they just seemed out of place. Really good track though! Best of luck to you in the future man!
I used the vocals in the same slightly off-beat way that Basshunter did in the original Angel in the Night.
Also, I had to layer the two chorus vocals together at one point, and that guy's mixing is on point! They sounded exactly the same till they got to the different words.
Much better than before.
The only thing I can hear that should probably be fixed now that you've corrected the volume of the sub, is that the notes aren't quite right with it.
Check the notes your sub bass is hitting during the drop, because they're slightly incorrect.
Whether they're too low or too high, I can't tell.
But it's definitely audible.
Hey SG87 great job! Very creative and a nice use of the loops.
I see how you build the track around the vocalist track. Not sure what ReonN was referring to about the "vox" disturbing him? I thought you executed what you wanted to do flawlessly.
I also liked how you ended the track, the same as you opened it.
I like the drop...
but....
the vocal is somewhat off with the track. The intro is good but the vox is the only thing in your track that disturbs me. But I like it, for me.
What a wild, powerful, crazy, funny, extremely good sounding, well mixed, fresh Dub Step track.
I really like what you done here SadGhoster87
All this much sounds are well worked out and used.
It is like an explosion of sounds. Filled up with high energy.
I really enjoyed this one
I like it's "Chaos" feel, which commonly dubsteps are pretty much is. Those vocal chops fits in perfectly! Those drums are also good, like those snares makes me eargazm (O_O)
Cool wobbles, and very nice growls!
Thanks man! I originally planned to replace "This isn't Zomboy" with something else before the drop, but eventually the loop grew on me and I used it in the final cut.
Thanks man! I carefully crafted the title. I wasn't sure whether to play on DJ OutsidE or DubstepMiddle at first, and I ended up choosing DubstepMiddle.
God damn! I love the DRUMS and how the bass mixes with it! The growls and the drop is so satisfying that it gives me the eargazm xD
Anyway, for me, criticisms are not really needed but all I have to say is that there's no cooldown or whatever. It's like too "continous" if you know what I meant.

All right, I'll be sure to remember that for the VIP.
