Not bad, your music is certainly improving! I would have loved the drop even more if you had added a big detuned saw chord playing with some attack. It was still cool without that tho. Your mixing is one point for sure though, very well done!
I am putting together a radio stream in memory of my late son who died from cystic fibrosis and would very much like to use this track. He was into dub, house, reggae, trip hop and many things electronic. The stream, sonnypieradio.com will be ad free, and will not pay royalties, however I am happy to give you a credit and links. Hoping for your permission. Thank you. Chris
Nice track! I especially liked the part towards the end. I would, however, suggest changing the snare that you used. It's too piercing in my opinion. Good track tho.
I like the beeping, it's like a heart monitor as I lay near death in a hospital bed with the whispery voices of the surrounding spirits shrouded in the gloom beckoning me to join them beyond the veil. Cool track MadCat, you did well. Happy Halloween! (^._.^)/
Thanks man, I much prefer to give a proper review on site.
Good intro, then it hits that glitchy groove, I can understand the thinking behind the theme, but found the overall direction of the track a little one dimensional not that it's bad or anything, but there is a fair degree of repetition going on without any melodic departures to give it a little more dynamic appeal...all in all if the track fits the brief it's done it's job...cheers PJB
I can't help you with the genre, I just listened to the song and I must say I like it. It may need some more working on, just to create some variety. >Regarding the tagging, I struggle every time when I upload a song here, I never know what it is. At the end of the day, who cares as long as you like it... Cheers, TG
Its a fusion of R&B (tempo), Dance (melody) and Urban (the drums). I would recommend studying the genre better to understand the thought processes behind the music. That is where the secrets are revealed. I produce for a wide gambit of artist so I'm always having to learn a new genre or style.
I am trying to wrap my head around how this idea of future bass is set apart from other genres. Since you seem to think yours did not turn out to be that genre, then I haven't learned much more. I suppose that this simply sounds like a hip hop instrumental to me, but what do I know. I could see this being extra good if there were more variation throughout, but I feel that about nearly any style of song, so don't mind me. I think the mix is pretty good though, so keep at it!

I like how the melody of the track progresses within the track, but 1 thing that i dont like is the vocals :/.
