When i heard the first measures of this track i immediately thought that what a perfect piece for jamming so i grabbed my guitar but so far no sensible outcome from my improvisation.

This is cinematic at its full meaning! That piece of piano and those drums are truly epic like it should be for some intense movie scene!
Good work!

I see a beautiful woman approaching from the distance. As she draws closer anticipation and excitement increases. When she arrives upon the scene, however, hell breaks loose. With a machine gun in each hand, she begins to kill everyone. As the last mans eyes go to darkness for the final time, his thought is "how beautiful, she is".

Nice track

That is a magnificent slice of imagery there.

I wish all reviews were in the form of a magical imaginary journey

thanks!

Reminds me a little of Keith Jarrett (just have to pinch myself -this is Looperman I'm listening to isn't it?) Great use of dynamics and kettle drums to boot! - great track!

Hahaha, there is no greater compliment you could pay me than to liken ANYTHING about my music to the grand master himself Mr Jarrett

thanks a LOT!

i love this track. the drum section - placement, arrangement - is truly cinematic! man, my only crit is that the ratio of piano vs string is unfair - add second pno line!!
PedroCasillas
PedroCasillas replied Unknown
Thanks dude,

the strings are a bit intense but I consciously opted for a resonating synth string sound as opposed to normal sampled strings to give it that darker edge, and there is room for a second piano line, I didn't want to saturate it however, thought it was best to leave open.

Glad you enjoyed though. thanks

Great pice of blended jazz. Nice talk between piano and drums. Add to my fav. I can't hear hip - hop though :) Fortunately...

Amazing, piano work as usual with your stuff is downright stellar. This is a great Christmas track and def gives me the x-mas feel to whip up heavily liquor'd up cup o egg nog... like the jazz flavor - this is x-mas music I dig, snowflakes, lights and a dash of lounge...lol. Love this track - FAV'D.

I really liked the slow intro and the change that jazzed it up. You have some serious talent and a creative mind also.
Well done
