Yeah it's always good to have someones elses opinion. After your first review i went back to listen and the more i listened the more i could relate to what you was saying. I think the strings totally changed the mood of the track and for the better.

lovin the melody in this track man!! This is by far the best track i have heard from u in the melody stakes anyway...Really fantastic chords man! Lovin this and the title really does reflect the melodies..they do have a sad feeling to them gr8 work! favd

I actually started this track with the chords and then everything just fell together.

yeah sounds good, i havent actually recorded on cubase or abelton yet, i was playing round setting up abelton last night and cant wait to use tonight after work, all my other tracks ive done have been direct from my keyboards to computer using a avlab connection, so now ill rerecord all using my presonus and abelton..hopefully tighten the sound and get it all a bit tidier

nice sounds, well played, ive been using cubase which is a nightmare and i just downloaded abelton , so much easier and so creative, havent used reason but a friend swears by it...pricey tho

Yeah i've also now moved on to ableton and i've got to say it's just so much more logic and simple, rewireing in reason just gave me headaches. You should check out my latest track i've done on ableton it's called fat salad and you really tell the diffrence beteen the daws.
Wicked track - bubbling with energy, saws, and with some very appealing classical cadences. Excellent sound, structure, and everything else really! Really enjoyable! Cheers for your review - I'm now currently trying to learn ableton to see what it's like and what I can do, but (despite what I've been told and read) seems really unintuitive... I'll give it time, but I still like Reason!! Anywho, wicked track!!

Ta for your rewiew m8. Yeah put a lot off work into the quarter note, but i think it payed off.
Hope all goes well with using ableton. it will be worth it. You shoud also cheak out some vst's like nexus 2 and vanguard by refx, they are all full off top notch synths. Thor/malstrum/subcontractor ect dont come no where near close.
cheers for the review. I always ment to go back to that track and finish it. I don't think any song i do is ever complete. And it's been just over a year and a half for this track. You should check out my new song called fat salad under electro. (i'm still wrking on it at the mo, tho and will probally update it soon.

It's quite eaisy, all i use is a basic saw, tweek it a bit then sidechain compress it to your kick if i remember right the attack aroun 0.5ms and the release was about 3ms them put your threshhold around -50db, but it all depend on how your sound lies in what you do with your compresser.

I think it sounds really good as is, very cool! Maybe you could keep things dirty with a little distortion on the synths or something. Very nice drum beats on this one, they've got a great momentum. Nice work so far!

Excellent Trance. Very nice mix. The percussion really pops. Makes my foot tap... Nice mixup on the melody. Could use a tad more bass on the low end. You've got a really good feel for this genre. I'll have to check out your other tracks. Great stuff. Yes I could use a download too.

This song makes me wanna get and my car and drive really fast. Anyways, i love these sounds and the pulsating rythem. I think the is an amazing production of music that transfers well and builds well. Good job!
