Hey Jay,

Quite a hardcore mix bro. As Evan said very Mastodon sounding riffage. It's a tough track but definitely needs the ceiling brought down. Your loosing a lot of dynamics here. I wanted to crank it but couldn't. I also think you should work on the arrangement some. This is a brutally heavy track which I totally dig. Hope you will give it just a bit more massaging to improve some of the issues.

Is it alright if I were to use this for a project I'm working on? I'm supposed to make a song and I think this track will amazingly fitting for it! ( It's targeted at a war against a village against the Mayan collapse survivors)

Powerful track man, mean, nasty, thick and heavy headbanger's music. I would try to cut down on some of the loudness by adjusting compression or limiter you have on either the tracks themselves or on the master track to give the track some breathing room and make it a little easier on the ears. There is some ass kicking music happening and with a few adjustments this could sound even better.

Greetings, jaytakill.

That is one hell of a waveform! I'm expecting this to be a five and a half minute "Clipfest". And,.....yeah. There is a metric shit-ton of low-end mud, or tar. Seems to mostly be in the kick, maybe in one of the distorted guitars. Sounds like you could easily fix that, so nothing to really worry about.

All that said, this is some very sweet shit you got right here! The best heavy stuff I've heard on this site for a long time. Doesn't sound like a mic'd setup. I'm guessing this was mostly done in the DAW. Bits of this reminds me of Mastodon's "Spectralight". I dig this deeply!

The change at 4:24 is a great way to extend the track. Very cool riff. Then a tortured scream and creepy voice outro.

Damn. Some pretty friggin awesome stuff. The mix is really the only issue, but it's a big one. Maybe just some hi-passes or a different kick with more crack to it.

Impressive writing and playing.

Evan
