sick! nice work on this. good production too for 1 hour.
also what do you do to control your patches? is it just wavetable stuff or edits or something? it sounds awesome
can use this in a mini mix?

Thank you.
Not entirely sure what you mean. I just build the sounds in Massive and Harmor and edit them from inside those programs.

Also, yeah.
Go ahead.

Hey, I like the complexity of the synth. LOL "nobody cares about the intro" made me lol. Cool dub work in the next segment. I love dubbyness :3 What software you used for this?

Thanks!
I use FL Studio 11 as my DAW and usually use Massive and Harmor to make the drops and leads.

Holy Hell mate....this is phenomenal!! I don't think I've ever liked a dubstep song as much as I like this one

The bass sound at the beginning reminds me a lot of SNAILS, whom I idolize. Also, the chorus parts in the second verse make this track so eerie and dubsteppy. Just AGH good FRICKIN JOB!!!

Best,
Skwish Fish

Wow! That means a lot to me, thanks!

I was trying to go for an altogether cinematic feeling, hence the chorus.

Thanks again, man!
Glad you liked it.

Love the crunchy bass ound. Never can get enough of it :p. Bit distorted at some points. The vocal shots are fitting well and the classic sound used makes it a pretty deep track. Good job!
SikNoiz
SikNoiz replied 10th Aug 2015 - 8 years ago
The distortion is because I had to compress it to match LM's file size limit.

Thanks!

It would be interesting to see how much damage I can do to it.

Btw, White Zombie (1932) kinda predates Night Of The Living Dead (1968).

Hey man. What's up?

It's kind of cool to see a horror based dubstep track other than mine floating around the ol' Loop. Your choice of horror samples is from an excellent source. I think there were about 3o zombie movies before Romero's Night Of The Living Dead, starting with "White Zombie" back in 1932. But, Romero's was the one that changed the face of Zombie flicks, though.

Not a bad little tune here. It needs a little work, but it's not bad at all. I think for me, the thing that stood out the most was the lack of variation and breaks in the drums. But I like the more laid back approach to Dubstep. It works for me, too.

Question: Are you creating this all from scratch, or are you using loops? Or, a little of both?

Take care.

Yeah, I wanted to make a themed piece of music for once. I've never really done that before, so I was flying by the seat of my pants.

I make Dubstep that I like to listen to. I enjoy simple drum patterns that I can nod my head to and that allow me to focus on the wobbles a little bit more. But, yeah, I see where you're coming from.

I'd say this is about 70% original and 30% loops.

"They are coming for you" This sounds like a horror movie man, but cool sound design. This track is interesting.

It IS from a horror movie.
Night of The Living Dead.
It's really one of the first zombies movies ever made.

Good music, but I feel that the vocal overlays could've been better with a little reverb or something. :) The track is awesome though. I like the dubstep work.
SikNoiz
SikNoiz replied 26th Jun 2015 - 8 years ago
I was trying to keep an older, lo-fi feel with the vocal samples. I can see that you'd normally be right, but I don't feel like it fits this track.
Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I saw that and I already downloaded them.
I tried to squeeze the samples in at the last second, but they didn't really fit the vibe.
