Love the layered effect of the guitars, then the smooth breakdown to the single loop, then bringing the other melodies in, really nice. I wish these strings were available as loops.....
I actually hear someone spittin a rap to this, but could pass in electronica as well. I LOVE songs like this. Those "too different to classify" or "cross genres" tunes are my favorite kinds. Maybe a trak for a commercial.
Didnt play it all my tracks are played with loops I have a keyboard and elecdtric guitar and a gnx-4 set up but everything is for xp I develop on a vista laptop.I still have much to learn here Thanks....Rockingchair
Love the track man. The voice sounds really funny..despite the situation it seems he's in. As for the actual music..i loved the hard hitting drums. Very high paced and exciting to listen to. I agree with others..make it longer..peace
Damn man, great drum transitions I love the way you brought in the bass drum and snare into the track just before the 1:00 mark and the percussion around 1:40. The arrangements were nicely done too, especially the tune shared by the mallets (?) and the synth.
On a sidenote, something in the background sounded faintly like my name being called and since I have headphones on, safe to say it got a bit creepy after a few minutes. I won't hold that against this fine track, though.
It was calling your name and saying open your wallet and send Rockingchair all your money (lol)No really the pay off is the review far greater gift than money thanks for the review btw I downloaded your free cd sometime back I listened but dont know where it went crawaled in my computer somewhere and got lost (lol)...Have a good one ....Rockingchair
I like the way this one trucks along. I felt compelled to want to throw a Hammond lead in there.... then it stopped. Sweet tune. Should fade the ending tho.
Thanks for the advice sometimes never know where Ill go with a piece I try to stay at 3 mins (always)I can always go back and rework some of my music I have over 50 tracks in 3 months my style and patterning is changing I need the advice eitherway thanks for the review...Rockingchair
well i'm digging the beat, and the raps aint bad, but your rapping way off beat. like, by alot. keep practicing tho man. i'd love to hear more and see how you develop.
Thanks for replying back. I also start out making songs by experimenting with different sounds I run across. Sometimes it is a Bass line, or a Piano or Guitar sound. I use loop CD's to give me ideas as well. Usually takes me a month or so to do one song as I try to get all the levels right, (EQ, Reverb, Compressors), and any other effect I might want to throw in that fits the tune.
Then I try and Master it at the end as well so it'll sound good on most any speaker system. I try to do songs that are interesting and fun, and sound good...at least to me. :-)
The first song I did on here was a country song and it took me 3 months as I was learning the software at the same time. (Pro-Tools)
Good luck with your work as well. Practice makes perfect they say.....

Hello there.
Well, I liked the song you made. I haven't gotten into doing anything like that yet. I have lots of software, but just haven't had time to go thru it all. I am into making regular type tunes you hear on the radio.
Usually playing around with new software or a piece of equipment, a person comes across all sorts of ideas. Is this how you come up with stuff?

There is 2 ways Ive found to make music 1 make a bassline and add to it or choice #2 create your melody and add the bassline to it.I use 2 a bassline is easy ideas? well let me say sometimes what you start with isnt always what you end up with Im only a weekend artist made 3 tracks this weekend might get another If I can help just ask I stared to put up a track bassless just to see what people can do with it but Im far from what some of these people can do only done this for 3 months...Thanks for the review and good luck...Rockingchair
