this has somehow got me flashing on the 'railroad earth' kerouac/allen - its so different than that but still seems like some loaded and yet unspoken story of lost and present worlds laughing with crazy abstract music
Be creative... Well you have! Really nice track mate. I really like the mellow synth. Now you've got me wanting to listen to final result.
Well done mate.
Cheers S.
Wow, sombre stuff indeed. I really like the vocals on this, reminds me of Barry Adamson's voice, infact the whole piece has a Barry Adamson feel to it, interesting stuff. I like it.
thank god for featured tracks this one put me right where I needed to be my brother ! the perfect little dittie before beddie bye !
Let's try a collab in the future my man! you rock !......................Johnny G.
glad it fit the bill .. hehe ... the funny part is i wasn't planning on doing the accent ... and I would love to work on something ... been learning on the fly and having fun ...
the arabesque always was one of my favorite piano compositions of Claude Debussy........think with the harp sound it fits perfect to your voice.........
lots of thanks for your e-mail concerning my loops
listening to this track i thought.........maybe he should write and record some lyrics for my own tunes ?
hope you´ll continue this style
I love spoken word... all kinds. This is very cool... you've done a good job of making your vocals the forefront without making them bare. Awesome listen.. you've got a great voice! ~Lisa
thanks, derk .. it is serving me well in that way ... sometimes it is just the cadence and the tonal quality of the voice that works for me ... I've enjoyed just letting it play a couple times over .... relaxes me ..
Great imagery...with the word....I particularly like the pace and tempo at work here...at times it rushes ahead and then pulls way back...in a word 'Dynamics'.....This is what encapsulates living breathing Art...........excellent!.....cheers planet
that is exactly what I have been thinking (about becoming more active) .. it's funny how, sometimes you have to drive all your ideas through the art that you are doing at the time ... (four months earlier and this would have been a poem.... hehe)
it is short, because I felt the theme becoming a bit too stretched ... this is brand new, so there is still some smoothing and such to do, but I may prefer to just leave as a little nugget ... a breath
a very interesting composition
with all these ethnic instruments and this funky piano sound ....the ending is a little bit surprising ...could be longer
