Hallo Micky, from Kayos2 HQ ;) We have just listened and this song has a fabulous groove, perfect instrumentation but in places, especially around parts of the vocal, it sounds a little too compressed.

Hallo Oli/Kay, Thanks for listening and for the helpful suggestion. I immediately checked all the vocals again and decided to simply remove all compression. Why not, just give it a try. And I think it actually sounds better, doesn't it? Yes, yes, compression and actually hearing it properly is a tricky thing... I'm still miles away from that... sigh. So thanks again for the tip.

hello Micky so good to see you about, to be truthful, i can't remember the old track but, the first time it was a wow from me, its still got bags of funk, but the one change i did notice was your vocal difference, totally different processing on the engineering side i see, its still bangs bro, really good update

You know, you have remarkable timing, not just musically speaking, because I'm actually working on a remix of this very track right now. I'll upload it here in the next few days and share it a bit. I'm now removing that formant processing from my voice on all my tracks because it bothers me now. There you have it again... musical development always goes hand in hand with personal development. Even if you're an old fart like me.
