I think we have some tastes and perhaps influences in common. I have used some of the same guitar loops in my music projects. You've done a better job, though. I agree that the drums could have been pumped up a bit, or processed through an equalizer to bring out the high end a taste. Awesome!

Thanks for the review BadDaddy I'll see if I can adjust that a little when I'm back in the studio
going to check out your stuff. "I'll get back with you" .................Johnny G.

Oooh this is lovely! I really love that you've gone and uploaded it (cause if he wasn't gonna share it noone else would have gotten to heard it) Johnny... this is amazing, love the music and the vocals.... all of it. Beautiful listen. Period. Nothing makes a better song than a love story... this is proof :) ~Lisa

Glad you liked it Lisa! I was a little hesitant to upload this one only because I wrote it for Rita and wasn't sure How she would feel about it
but she basiclly said that it was too cool not to share and she uploaded it herself, "the best part of it is it's all true! ~Blushes as he types~

Now this is as mesmerizing as it is unique.....It's like the local Benedictine chapter has merged with the flamenco tap dancing society and gone down to the temple for a shindig.........all it really needs is some whip cracking and screams and we have the Spanish inquisition circa 2008......great work...200 hail Mary's should just about cover it....cheers planet

thanks planet if you can check out what I started with DonnieVyros' track PSRs3 and make the comparison it's quite a difference!and hey let's do something together! oh btw "no one expects the spanish inquistion!"..........Thanks Bro!

At first I though I was listening to Benedictine Monks chanting in a spanish monistary high atop a mountain. There is a really ancient, musty, stone block feel to this. Great piece of ambient music. A castle full of atmosphere. If you still have need of a dragon, keep me in mind, for we are unconventional creatures. lol ;-)

thanks mokeone I appreciate the excellent review, I have to thank DonnieVyros for the perfect base structure to get this done! "always ready for a challenge" funny you would say mountain in your review the title is ~Mountain Wind~ in spanish!
Donnie had suggested the title mountain wind in his description before i downloaded it.

Through a simple greeting. To say 'hello', well, that's where it came from. The root word of "Salve (sal-way)" in Latin translates to roughly the same thing.

As for the track, I think what ya added was awesome. I'm definately diggin the guitars (the chants add an almost ancient feel as if we were peering into a porthole to 3 or 400 years back).

When I went to write a name on the desc it was the first thing that popped into mind. Now I can almost see a saga unwinding from just those few minutes all those years back. And thanks to you, it is a shared story that has been built upon even further.

We have the scene, we have the timeframe, now all we need are characters and possibly a dragon? Cheers!

Friggin' Nice. I couldn't make this if I wanted to. It would end up sounding like belly dancer music from a retirement community if I wrote it. I give it two thumbs up.

Beats are crisp love the snare and variation of your bass, nice and snappy!!!! Did you use a compressor on the bass??? The intro does not fit IMO and the tracks to short mate....I want more. This samples or did you play any instruments here?
