This sounds very good especially when you start of with a new DAW and this is your first song with it. I would enjoy a stronger melody though with piano or something but this is more of the chill out that is just really slow and relaxing. Like how you panned the sounds ;)
Well done and good luck with further projects, am interested in hearing more ;)
A massive thanks for listening and for your kind comments. So pleased that you liked, it is really great to have feedback like this.....
I am trying guide myself through Ableton and will surely improvise this track...
you create a beautiful ambience. the plucked synth sound is a favorite. i like how you bring it down around 1:15 in. it becomes introspective, reflective. you have a nice feeling for the panning. such a basic effect but so effective when done well! beautiful work. thoroughly enjoy! cheers! I can relate by the way to "first victories" with a new DAW. Finally got a few tracks under my belt in FL Studio, having made switch from Acid. peace.
You have really good chill out sound here. the basis is good and shows a lot of creativity. Just a few points, the transition at 1.10 is a bit messy and would be better "smoothed in" to make it less harsh, the organ sound between 1.0 and 1.45 could do with some sound improvement and the addition of some more synth melody would just lift the track to another level. This is still a great piece of work, well done.
Thanks Larry for listening my song and also for your feedback.Working on it and will improvise it...
Just one thing....How should I introduce the new synth melody....Should I just fade it in or what..?
Not too much plus can add after StaticNomad's review...:-)
First of all, this track is fabulous...mainly the mood and for me the tempo, groovy...I very much like the dark tone of the track...very effective synth software chooses you made...my only opinion is that maybe you can try a lead synth melody for the peak of the song with a little percs...
hey danke! Thanks for replying and I am trying to improvise the track.....
BTW my name is Advait Danke...got same surname as that of your username...(no offense found it a little funny though)
Lots of good ideas in this tune. Nice work. If I may suggest, sometimes the tune seems to get a little lost, it seems like it's just repeating the same loop without a purpose. The overall feel is great but it needs a more structured arrangement. I'd like the arp too but it became a little obsessive after a while. If you want to work on both these problems in one shot, I'd suggest to make a part where the arp fade out, and the whole composition gently rise with more rich pad and/or piano chords, just to "reverb out" and than finding new life with the arp again. It would make the tune more interesting to follow. There's a lot of nice parts in the tune already which "deserves" to be perfectioned :)
Thanks Leverett! Really appreciate the comment....
Soooo much to improve and awesome hints....
Actually I'm still trying to learn Ableton Live(it's the best DAW I have used) and surely will improvise the track....!!a
Then some delayed piano though maybe it's a little bit distant though that's OK.
It's a basslne that isn't very bassy but that works fine as this is quite a minimal and sparse piece.
Drop of the beat is not exactly the track resetting itself, more just sounding like you're thinking of what you second half will be.
Keyboard sounds like an old Yamaha DX7 piano sound.
Around 2 mins piano gets better. Like the chords and melodies from there to the end.
Maybe that synth bassline gets a little repetitive by around 2:30 but it's a good, warm and emotive sound so that's not such a problem.
Fadeout ending I don't like. Sounds like a work in progress which you weren't sure how to end. Maybe that's exactly what it is.
It feels like it needs to go somewhere - kick into a new riff so maybe find a different bassline to replace your main one. Maybe build it up to make it heavier and more dynamic and then break it back down again.
Try some subtle, syncopated percussive stuff moving around your main, simple but effective electronic hit groove.
So many other suggestions I could make but those will probably do for now.
As it is, it would work fine as a bit of background chillout music. I also do chillout stuff (not only, do heavy as well) but like it to move around a lot more and get more expressive and dynamic rather than just sitting at one level most of the time.
Thanks StaticNomad! Really appreciate the comment....

I like the shimmering shaker in the intro.
Then the tight beat meshes well with the synth.
