Yeah I will check out your other stuff. Collab would be good, however at the moment I'm focusing all my attention at trying to make the right beat for a new and upcoming rapper and good friend of mine.

One day or millennium we could maybe colab to do something EPIC. how about the concept of fusion betweens Cinematic and Electro house ?

Feel free to check my other work since i do often musics with around the same genre you made !

ET ? this may due to my electric guitar who sounds like an sound from space (aliens).

For me at part 1:20 min to 1:56 min I found its more like you are running faster and faster to reach the speed of light (physically impossible) and that part is also my favorite :)

Also thanks for this kind feedback and for the fav too !

Hey jamid , late is better than never.

Seriously im sorry very sorry extremely sorry about this late comment

By the end part I hope you means the solo and not at 2:43 min XD

Finally its true im a genius I have to tell you I have zero course in music that means I make music with my ear not with theories. I think thats makes my works more original

Also I think im the proof than everyone can do decent music with death and chaos muahahaha

I think you have created a disturbing new genre called Fairy-Tale metal.(FTM) (conte de fée Métal). Nicely done; the bells are disturbingly relevant for what you are doing here. I agree with Danke and Phat Katz in that I want to hear a more distorted guitar. But this is a really creative work you have made my friend, explore this one!

Byleth replied 1st Jul 2015 - 10 years ago
Dear Cru you know me, I love making original genre.

Hope there will have soon a Fairy-Tale Metal tag on looperman :)

By bells do you means the first instrument ? because a lot of my friends says its bells but in reality its a piano with a lot of fx anyway thanks for the feedback about the "bells"

Again the guitar issue, In fact I was not prepared for my challenge so I used the vsti sytrus (comes with my daw) to make my electric guitar.

If someone who have a real electric guitar I could maybe give him the note so he/she will be able to make real guitar sounds for my song. Im sorry but I think for now its all i can do for the electric guitar (out of my skills).

Rest In Peace dear fellow friend

Very nice :p Industrial metal. That vocals after "the Grim Reaper never sleeps..." reminds me of Moonspell \m/ Turn up the guitar a little and turn down the main vocals a touch, you'll be perfect :D Doubling the guitar fattens it up too.

Agreed with Epic...metal means (for me) a brutal guitar sound...well, it's innovative but I could call it industrial better than metal...very good vocs work and what I specially like is the drum...

Congrats and handshake, Danke
Byleth
Byleth replied 29th Jun 2015 - 10 years ago
Maybe I failed my challenge about making an Heavy metal track but I still be proud about my industrial one XD

Since you love the drum loop I invite you to see the full list of what SintheticRecords did

http://www.looperman.com/loops?mid=SintheticRecords

About the guitar sounds I can explain why its weak I used 2 syth to make that maybe with a real guitar this would sounds way better anyway I think even if its weak for a metal its sounds great for a industrial.

Thanks for this comment Danke and Handshake :)

Byleth replied 29th Jun 2015 - 10 years ago
I already planned to make an extended version of it so if you have inspiration you can make others Grim Reaper's like vocals who could fit to the main ambience of this song. this would be great

Anyway good job on the main vocals

and thanks for this quite good feedback

Im happy to see you like my work

The dischord at the beginning has a very interesting sense of confusion with it. The electric guitar sounds a little weak in my opinion. I think it may be a little quiet as well in the second part of the song. Might want to raise the volume as it gets a little lost in the mix.

Hey Ant

Mate a nice constructed piece, agree a fusion of genre's, but melded nicely to make a enjoyable track to listen too, didn't notice any transitions that where out of place, well that jumped out as being wrong, I am listening to piece through speakers, maybe if listening with headset may notice trans more but listening with speakers, seems okies from this end...Admire the way you have everything working so well together...Good work...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

Byleth replied 10th Jun 2015 - 10 years ago
Hey Mosaic, thanks for those kind sentenses. You are maybe right maybe the trasition is not than bad but my theoria is : I made that track so before playing that i knew where was the transition so I paid more attention on the "spike noise" but if I using that for gaming the track seems to be continous.

p.s Thanks for the fav

Peace.

Also the part from 5.16 to 7.26 is the part 4 of Up From Ashe who all is utopic in the game thats why its energetic and dancing feelings :)

i sell a small amount of cinematic music and I think u are on a winner here - well done, it is an interesting arrangement. If u are seriously after constructive criticism then I will offer this (just my opinion) the sound that enters around 0:57, i think it is a violin vst (?) and I wish I could afford those hugely expensive violin vsts - i think needs a reverb or compression or something. To say it sounds harsh is not correct but there is something that is...um..sounds cheap is not correct either. Perhaps i should say nothing. Any way love your use of percussion (introduced around 0:35), fantastic, subtle and yet with purpose.

ant4505...having a plan for the music project...the composition ideas...the arrangement, instrumentation, an how it will come together & sound in the end etc always pays off ...I am not a good example of that for I just compose to have something to play guitar to most of the time and am not very patient.....good for you....it sounds like an interesting project...keep it going...it always pays to take the time...Ed

Hi Ant,
This is a great piece of gloom and sadness.
It has some kind of cinematic feel to it.
In my view, it is a bit too short.
I like it.
Great job
Jamid
Byleth
Byleth replied 26th May 2015 - 10 years ago
Hi Dear jamid thanks for this feedback

Thats true this piece have gloom and sadness but still have a little hope at 0:50 min isn't a good slow melody :) ( my favorite part)

Don't worry, first of all why its "short" it is because the dev wanted that (less memory taken) but this music Loop pretty well so basicaly the music never stop so endless tune :)

Also it is the Part 1 , I will make the part 2,3,4 and puted them together to make 1 piece (mainely my concept behind that) so in fact, Up Form Ashes will be pretty long (to make aswell)

Maybe I will need you soon I thinking about needs some good drum patters since you are a god for that

Again thanks for the feedback.

I think based on the intro that this would also work well with a Dub reggae beat as the synth sounds like a steel drum. Nice work though, I enjoyed!
