And I thought I was the only one with this experience, Glados! It's good to meet a fellow touchee!

Good job on your track. I'm not a gamer, but this sounds a bit like it could be in a game.

Cheers,
Scott

This is super fun! Like finding a hidden level on a Super Mario game :)

Music theory? If you want to expand your knowledge, sure. But don't let that get in the way of creative freedom, man.

Giorgio said it best..

'Once you free your mind about a concept of harmony and music being correct, you can do whatever you want'

Good stuff

This is really cool. I can imagine myself mixing this to a hard house tune or something along a trance feel. The mix sounds really good at my end.

Keep the music alive my friend.

Peace!

A bit of up tempo techono. We don't get much of that round here so it's nice to hear a bit of bom bom bom for a change.
Again it's got that arcade kind of feel to it with a techno edge. I like the 8 bit leads and the booming drums.
This is a nice little number.

All of your tracks sound like technical malfunctions and gameboy games. That's not a bad thing though, good work. peace

I'm liking this. The bassline is kind of techno and then it goes a bit f**ked up. I like your style as i'm always kept well entertained by your love of retro sounds. You should be writing themes for computer games. This would go brilliantly in a twisted platform game (and some of it would go down well in a nightclub as well)
Very original.

LOL entertaining intro in the description. This could possibly be the theme song to my mind whenever I'm distressed in the field of customer service. Creative track here, another fun production. peace out!

at the intro it sounded like it was gonna be eppic but then it was like listening to 8 bit after the intro no offence, I would have like to hear something really agressive or bass heavy after an intro like that

glados666 replied 20th Jun 2014 - 11 years ago
I don't think you listened to the whole track, did you? What you were looking for was at the end. I made the intro as a hook, I eased up after that to intensify the ending.

Thanks for your comment though!

Ah yes, classic techno! I'm really impressed with what you do, especially considering it doesn't sound like you have a lot to work with. I've been there, and you should treasure this time. The things you learn now will be with you forever. This is super catchy and fun to listen to! I'm very fond of the ending with the sort of chiptune sounding lead, sounds great! Hardcore and friendly all at the same time! Fave!

Hehe. really shines for me from about 1:10 until the ending. Massive bsod in progress. Kudos for proper abuse of midi. Good 'boss' music for a twisted videogame. Cooool \m/

Man, this is messed up. As in the awesome way! I have no idea what you envisioned making this track. Maybe nothing more than putting sounds together. Maybe you tried to paint some picture (thats what I always try with my music. then let it go and people hear or picture in their mind whatever they feel)

So what scares me is I totally had a vision with the song. Some person hectically getting ready for the day, rushing outta the house, then getting on a subway, sitting alone with his thoughts as the the rush of people come in and out, bumping into one another, everyone scrambling along in their day, till the person finally gets off the subway and the dreary mundane walk to the office that ends slumped in an office chair after yet another morning in the rat race.

Other than that, I dont have any comments on the track...

Your half right! I make my music like abstract art. Some people see it and can reflect to it, and some don't. Everyone see it differently as well. Me? I pictured it as... well... abstract art! Its unique to me

Thanks! :)

I see and like what you did with your description and the title. This track does sound very silly and fun. It fits your title greatly. If tracks could actually have movements, this probably would indeed cause Looperman Errors. Hahaha! Cheers!

Definitely a cool composition you've done here! Sounds pretty authentic, so there's that. Getting late 80's flashbacks of weekend long NES binges. (oh for those simpler times(oh to hell with you self)) I like that lead around 3:20 very much! Square waves at their finest here! Good one! Fave!

Chiptunes are compositions based on embedded synth chips from various gaming machines, usually C64, nintendo, etc.
This is a good chiptune arrangement, and well mixed. 8-bit sources make volatile mixes.
Nice work. :)
