Like a fine wine, this track is smooth. I love the fatness of the snare. Based on how real this sounds I can only assume this is all real instrumentation. Am I correct?
Hi man, thx for the curiosity
The guitar is real
For the drum i used Addictive Drum and works hard to add a human feeling to the groove, but i've got to say that AD is a really great soft.
For the rest (keys and bass) it came from VSTI.
I pretty sure that the bass is quantize but i'm pretty sure i didn't used quantize for the synth.
Mellow and trancy with just the right amount of friction: its soothing but rubs a little as well. Nice space work on the guitars and the panning makes it livelier. Cool track
Hahaha
Thx for your comment mate
Appreciate
and yes even if it's homestudio works i like the idea that you can hearing a band playing or could be able to play it live
Here I am, listening to your songs, and I see comments from one I have tried to work with, and one I have only now just heard.
Your song remind me of "echo and the bunnymen" or "joy division" and I like that in any song. Deep and dark, with a hopeful edge. You've done something special here.
There are so many people coming out of the woodwork here on Looperman right now, and it's great to see. Hardly ever have I hear a song like this in this arena.
Wow. I love the power of this one. Very dynamic.
With vocals and some keyboard and a guitar and a good mix/mastering, i bet this one has some potential.
Really cool one. Wonder how it sounds when you are finished with all.
Hey this was made on my birthday Haha The track is really well done. Love the glitchy effects throughout, and that melodic break at 1:51 is extremely cool. I wonder how you made it. The drums are very well done as well. Progression is cool and they sound great. Excellent work.
Indie cool drums on this I need to look up addictive drum 2 I've never heard of them. I liked the vox element and the overall energy also liked the abrupt ending. Good work peace out. Robbie.
What did you make those distorted bass, almost glitchy effects that occur in the background with the bass with? I think it really adds character to the bassline. Also I love the drums, they work extremely well with the bassline
Thx for your curiosity mate
For the bass i used differents things like the RC20 from XLN audio + I played with a step sequencer to change the groove + Eq compressor etc
The drum is from Addictive drum 2
I think it would sound more better if there's a bass guitar playing behind the track. It would feel like in a racing game (specifically, test drive series) it sounded like their soundtracks hahaha.
Anyways, I like the whole track itself, it still lacks something but carry on :)
Thx for your feedback mate
yeah i see what you means but in fact there is already some analog bass (start in the middle of the track).
But i'm agree i can go deeper in this direction.
As i said i may add some guitars it depends if some vocalist want to add lyrics.
Wave your hands in the air, and wave 'em like you just don't care!
Somebody screammmmmm
Everybody, say everybody, everybody just clap your hands.
Ah, this takes me back to my 80s break beat records.
Great job.
I think another poster said your music would be good on a commercial. One that comes to mind is Kid Ink's "The Movement" that's currently being used for Acura: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VivI2RfiT-8
Great vibes in this track. It is indeed cinematic and the composition is very well put! You can also find different vocals here in looperman and just keep searchin and you might find gold in the acapella section.
