Hi Dave, I really dig the mood you have created in this track, it's totally original! The first thing to strike me after the wonderful intro was your bass playing and the sound it has. Wow man that's a sound... I can imagine a lot of players would love to get that sound. The song sounded full and vibrant before I added the soprano ( a kid didn't turn up for a lesson, so I did it then. That's the beauty of carrying the stuff around with you. You can record anywhere). I really love the atmosphere, so I just played and hopefully left enough space for the track to breath...
Thank you for the invite to play on something so beautiful..

Cheers Slap...

Hey Steve..that's amazing man!..technology is a wonderful servant in the hands of a great musician like yourself..it never ceases to blow me away, great playing mate, just what the Doctor ordered!..hey when you eventually see the kid that didn't turn up give him my regards.. lol..I sort of feel that I should pay for his next lesson seeing as I benefited so much from his absence..lol..a lovely story!.. cheers mate Dave :)

Ripper mate! Alright Dave, as you said to me sometime back "I've been digging through your songs and found some gold". Well buddy I needed to have a laid back flavour with the day I've had today. It's coming to exam time for me. This means two solid days of kids on a production line being examined on their musical instruments, and all that comes with it. The tears, the nerves, the joy, the relief, the broken reeds, strings and in some cases broken/forgotten instruments. So at the moment this is silly season for me...

Anyway this is a beautiful track. Wonderful effects to create the perfect backdrop for a silky smooth bass and masterful production. Hey Dave if you do another like this let me know, I would love to put some soprano and flute over something as chilled as this. 11/10...

Cheers Slap...

Hey for sure Slap...I made some mistakes with this tune which you were kind to overlook...I think the slow tunes are the hardest to play well...Levon Helm from the "Band" in my opinion is the master of 'hanging' slow beats on the drums....cheers mate :)

This is quite a journey indeed.

This really needs to be in a movie, an intro or credits, or closing scene.

The guitar is amazing.

Hey, I haven't listened to your music in a while, so I decided to go on your page and listen to it XD

The vocal effects were very out of the norm, (in a good way)

This is an excellent voodoo type of feel imo

I have to be meat inebriated and have a listen to a track like this "OH MY GOD!" you SIR have taken me to a higher plane and I thank you for that this will be a fav sir and I will not have a recollection that i have done so but that is fine sooner or later i will figure it out!
