Damn, you and the tropical vibe.

It seems to now be your main genre. I'm sure you once told me you used to play guitar in a metal band. Did you go on a nice tropical holiday and decide that was the vibe you wanted to keep going forever? Or perhaps you've moved to a tropical island.

How about making some tropical metal?

Anyway: this is pretty pleasant, tropical stuff though I think the very start is too abrupt. Could do with some sort of intro or at least not starting right away with the vocals.

Sax seems pretty decent to me. It's a bit of a pleasant surprise and makes more sense when the kick joins it.

Overall: the vocals are a bit too much like pop music for me but the general uplifting vibe is a good one so I appreciate it.

I actually like the sax. It's a little muted as opposed to brash and in your face and I think that suits this piece very well.
Only slight niggle I have is the base that comes in at 2.47.
That to me doesn't quite sit but but but .... I have a hangover and may well change my mind after the fog has lifted.

Hi mate lovely track/mix, well produced and sounding really sweet. I take your point about the sax, but the only way around it would be to have someone do a live piece or a specially recorded part. I think its fine for the track as it stands though.

Hi mate, beautiful track here, I would agree with some of the earlier comments though about the Dubstep beat. If you could change the snare to a rim shot or a less aggressive compressed snare then I think it would sound better, personally speaking of course, other than that its a fantastic track!!

Hey, no problem. I try to help in any small way I can. Hard to know how any feedback will be received and sometimes people may already be aware of errors/failings. Perhaps sometimes pointing them out can serve as encouragement to go fix them ("Yes, we did notice that dodgy bit").

Anyway: I don't see a lot/anything wrong here and I knew you'd keep the dubstep loop so congrats on the other changes.

I'm currently finishing updating a dual female vocal track from four years ago. It's ridiculous how many awkward audio pop edits there were in the previous version. I can't understand how I could have missed them. However, I wouldn't be surprised if no one pointed them out if I had uploaded it to Looperman. Instead, you'll soon be getting the much improved, mostly smoothly transitioned version. It's a jazz track called The Second Law Of Self Love.

Hi. I commented on the earlier version of this, with some ideas, but no reply so far. Oh well.

Anyway: this sounds great - really uplifting and melodic. I'd still rather not have that dubstep beat but I guess it's OK. Everything sits very tightly together and this is really classily made and mixed stuff.

Happy, blissful music that is very pleasant to listen to.

Hey that was really pretty soothing! I like the piano/synth work on this a lot. The drums are good as is, but it could lend itself to other styles of drums as well, like StaticNomad suggested. I think the vocal part was my least favorite part. While it sound cool, I think it might be a bit overused. Would be cool if you got an actual singer on this, and used those sampled parts as like a hook or something. Enjoyable listen for sure!

but maybe add a more distinct synth/vox riser starting at like 1:07/1:08 - it could sound cool!

I like this. Not so keen on that dubstep drum loop. Just because I don't much like that sound that I've heard in a million dubstep tracks. But but but: lots of people clearly do love it and, when it enters, the whole track comes together and you sort of "know where you are".

Very first fading in arpeggiated synth is nice and with a good pulse. Then good piano (?) chords. Interesting tone to that instrument.
Effected vocal is good and gives it some character.
Percussive element that's heard most clearly in the breakdown middle has a good sound and reverb.

Overall: this actually sounds a lot like many other tracks in this style. But it's good and deep and relaxing.

To give it a lot more character, I'd say completely remove that dubstep drum loop and go for different drums that do a similar job but aren't so cliched. Acoustic drum kits would sound less predictable for this style but then I would say that as I love acoustic kits (and have loads of them, as you've heard many times).

While I guess you'll keep the dubstep loop, at least give what I'm suggesting a go as you may find a very cool drum sound that takes this in another direction. It's too short so you need another direction. You can always blend the new drum sound with you dubstep loop.

Try adding some swing jazz drums - that would be interesting. Try playing some chilled out chugging metal guitar chords.

Love that intro. The piano chords are interesting and well executed...Wow, those drums. Beautiful. Nice and big. Whatever you have here, keep chasing it. I really like those big drums. It'd be cool to have a tambourine or shaker in there somewhere towards the end to keep it moving. I like those chopped female vocals you got in there haha. Good one here, bud. Keep it up!
