nice usage of that acapella of Patricia Edward.
agree with midiman's comment abouT Franco's playing & Franco's compliments abou yours . Scott are U fine ? why after my collab with my BrandY I never see U share your idea about what U listen in my trials tha t i see you've played them, Scott?untold is obvious We're all free to commenT & but when someone's attitude saddenlY changes I think question is better than missunderestanding .respects & all the besT.___Behnam
Thank you for your comment. All is fine with me, just been kind of busy. Please don't misunderstand...I think you are a wonderful guitarist, but I don't comment on everything I listen to. Your style is very complicated and it sometimes escapes me. You may be too advanced for my ears, but I do listen to all the tracks I see by you. Please don't be upset if I listen but don't comment.
This is a chill out by your interpretation...:-)I understand you had to put somewhere but it1s unique...loved every second of this song from the female vocs to the drum, guitar, brass etc...
Fabulous 'live' music ...
10/10
Thanx for the upload, Danke
Hey, Danke. Yeah, wasn't too sure what to put this under. I'm not even sure what 'chill out' is! I just know it's a subdued style. I wish Looperman would re-vamp their genre styles. LMK if you have a better suggestion.
WOW! In a word? This track is EXCELLENT! Love how all the elements come together and how you eneded the song, very chill and a wonderful title as well. I could listen to this track for hours, certainly one of my favs. Great job, thanks for sharing... D
Some really nice sounds and ideas! The sound is crystal clear, it's just that overall mix needs some more balance, but all in all very good chill stuff !
Very well played: kudos to the team.
Not a single note out of place. Really good!
And the mix is good as well.
Good song to start the new year!
Ciao, Domenico
A musical concept, you are like a fish in water .... A journey that allows us despite the gray and rainy time of a trip on the Brazilian coast, and find the sun .... (It lacks the beautiful girls)
I especially like the drums and percussion parts that you realize .... but without removing the musical ingenuity of the team ....
Congratulations! Yes! I adhere to your concept 100%.
look guys it's really good .
I just don't like those drum rock passages in begining of a samba track .
our vocal is trying to sing in samba beat and Samba style but he is not a fan of samba .
bet he has never danced a Samba rhythm.
and a female back vocal chorus could creat a real samba.
Samba should took me dance .
but you are very tallented.
To each his own, Candelaria. None of us are Latin, so maybe our authenticity is lacking. Actually, we weren't trying to make an authentic samba, but more of a Latin fusion track. Unfortunately, they don't have 'Latin Fusion' as a genre selection! I'm not an expert on Latin style drumming, so I use many elements in my playing, just as Robert may not be an expert in Latin vocals, but he sings what he feels. If you would like to try your hand at an authentic Latin style, we will be happy to do our best at backing you.
I'm definitely old enough to remember this one, and you guys did it justice :) Put a big smile on my face and made the coffee taste great this morning. Really well done (especially the drums, haha). Outstanding effort gentlemen. Hope 2014 is full of hits for both of you.
Sorry for not replying sooner. I got kinda backed up.
Thanks allot for your comment. Glad you liked it and thanks for the drums comment. Guess you read Midiman's comment. Sometimes he busts my balls, but he uses my drums for some of his songs, in fact, we just finished one that he should be posting, soon.
Thank you, Peter! We appreciate you checking us out and leaving your kind words. My buddy, Franco keeps my Latin chops sharpened with his compositions.
Nicely made scott ;) Brings a warm feeling. I won't remember that song for sure since it's way before my time but you made it sound great so goodjob ;)
Thanks allot, JP. Glad you checked it out even if it's from an old fogy like myself! I know I sound old, but the 70's had some great music that still holds up today.
Très bien .... It is a successful concept .... Ah! Chris Rea .... a fascinating personage for whom I also share with Ed the enjoy listening very often. An era that marks the spirit .... Is not it?
All my musical wishes for the new year, that I wish for you, very productive ....
Thanks allot, Aelmen. The original is a real beauty. Don't know how much justice I did to it, but if you like this, check out the original. Just do a search...It's all over the net.
Absolutely one of my all time favs too Scott...still have it on my MP3 player I use for daily walks etc...right along with "Looking For The Summer".....super job...best thing I`ve heard all day....thank you...what a great way to eant the year......Ed
