This type of beat has been used in R&B since the 70s. Even in jazz fusion.
The 80s funk groups sped it up a bit, added some electronic drums for effect, and hits like "Word Up" by Cameo were created.
I really love this loop. And thanks for uploading so many variations. If I may offer some advice, why not put any future variations of new loops in a loop pack that you can sell via your own website or perhaps thru email?
Still, I can certainly understand freely distributing your artistic gift because its something you enjoy doing.
This is excellent. Great command of melody and what's popular today. I usually do lyrics and background vocals for all the tunes I create using loops (giving the loop creator full credit of course). I don't have a quick turn-around, because making a good song is time consuming, but I'll let you know when this song is done.
I really love this loop. The whimsy of it, kinda quirky but it can be used for trap or even an old skol flavored song. I tend to search Looperman for different sounding loops, so this one hits the spot for me.
Glad to see the importance you're putting on your education. Good on you to make your senior year count, my best to you.
Though I'd already downloaded the longer precursor of this melody (that you uploaded in Jan. 2019 called "Jazzy Chords")I can work with this version also. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Great loop. Simple yet effective and emotive. Some very good edm, R&B and pop tunes have been created using this approach. This can also be used for hip-hop and trap, so its genre crossing. Speed it up and a house or deep house track can be created too.
This is such a great loop. It's wonderfully soulful and old skol, but can work for the lofi or neo-soul of today. I hope I can write a worthy lead vocal and background harmonies to compliment it.
This is wonderful. Your decisions on how the melody should be structured turned out to be excellent. I tend to gravitate to loops that I can put a lead and background vocals over, so this works for me.
I'm going to take a listen to your entire catalog of loops. Thank you for sharing your talent.

I generally write songs for female voices and this is such a strong foundation for an Ella Mai/Melii/Kiana Lede type composition.
I love your melodies and chord progressions. Thank you for sharing your talent.

It depends on what bass line comes to me. If its jazz oriented, those would be
the two artists I hear.

Great job on this loop, especially if you don't play an instrument and created it by ear (basically listening for what sounds right together).
That's a gift, one that some musicians struggle with (myself included).
Thanks for sharing your talent.
