Trying to figure out where to go with this . . .
Confunkshun? Commodores (with Lionel Ritchie of course) Cameo?
Modernize it with a bit of Bruno Mars? Wait, I've got it!
Gonna give props to all of 'em :)
I envision this as a great slow song, a lovers lament. Hope I can do justice to it with an enticing lead vocal and musical composition. Thank you for sharing your talent.
This is a beautiful loop. Which means I need to create a lead vocal and harmonies that compliment it. Once I'm done I'll post it on my Looperman track page.
As long as a loop is in tune and the effects are limited I can work with it. Sometimes transposing a loop with too many effects, it can sound horrible and I may need to transpose them to fit a female voice and vibe like Ella Mai or Kelani.
This one is simple and melodic, which will work as either a foundation for a song or to enhance one. Good job.
Thanks Wikkid, I didn't mean that its weird in a bad way or anything, just that its different from the stuff i usually make. thank you much for the insight :)
"Whoa Nelly! Don't jive me man, d-don't jive me!" - Jaimie Fox as Ray Charles
This is FANTASTIC. For anyone wondering what all the fuss is about, Check out some Nina Simone ("Take Care of Business for Me" from The Man from Uncle) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwKrTBcURU8
The great Darlene love on Bob B. Soxx and the Blue Jeans.
And of course, Little Anthony and the Imperials. The conk hairstyle, the suits, that lisp! The full orchestration (listen to the horns and the violins on the accents):
You've outdone yourself with this one Brado. Excellent job sir. I'm guessing your writer's block is over? Because you've been on fire lately with the loops (vocal and musical).
Oh man, I do love me some 60s drum timpani!
Add in a soaring, sweet violin (like in Hurt So Bad by Little Anthony and the Imperials) and I'm in retro heaven.
Thanks so much for this. The mix is excellent by the way.
Glad to hear it wikkid! I just got Komplete 12 Ultimate: Collector's Addition so you'll be seeing some more interesting stuff from me over the next few weeks/months!
This is a wonderful loop. I was able to come up with several possibilities for a lead vocal using it. You've got a flair for melodies. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Really appreciate it man, sometimes i'm inspired to make melodies sometimes the melodies inspire me to make a nice beat. Do comment your work, i'd like to hear
This is just beautiful. An excellent foundation for a song (with vocals). You're one of the most prolific contributors on Looperman, and I notice that you make an effort to expand on the genres of loops that you post. Your hard work and exceptional keyboard skills do not go unnoticed. Thank you so much for sharing your talent.
I gotta say, this is one of your finest loops. It has an old skol, Motown feel (I'm thinking Diana Ross/Supremes) with the melody, but updated for today's trap and hip hop audiences. Thank you for sharing your talent.

on Weird drum loop by Malvic
Just wanted you to know that your loop isn't weird at all. American Bluegrass music owes much to this type of drumbeat.
Here's an example from the group The Doobie Brothers, used in their hit "Black Water":

Variations of this style were used on songs from Ray Charles (The Cinncinati Kid) to Dionne Warwick's "Walk on By"
Also, let me add R.I.P. jazz singer Nancy Wilson. Truly a class act and a beautiful lady with great pipes.
Rasputin, you just made my day.

This is a wonderful loop, with just the right amount of darkness and mystery in the note selection.

Oeste viene de los baqueros del viejo oeste en america.
A mi me recuerda a un duelo en el desierto entre baqueros.
