this is bulletbroof dude...
i used these vocals b4...cuz i had a demo version of ma DAW, and was exporting sounds and bouncin' them to audacity then sequencing tracks their
which was hell, but when u wanna do musik, U WANNA DO MUSIK lol
can i get and amen?
(no religious concerns intended)
dude!
i was in the same position not too long ago.
just exported loops and fit stuff together
in audacity. i did a bassline that got close
to chase and status's basslines for "Eastern Jam"...
mad i didnt save the sytrus patch.
i think ud do damage with a working DAW,
and a phat bassline pushin' VSTi, like albino 3 or massive. (Albino's my weapon of choice, but the anoloug sounds from massive are, well, massive haha)
hope u can get a hold of it soon,
ur stuffs on point.
whats a DAW (were you meaning saw????) i never really played with a saw to much but i did play with the saw shape more then once is vst and albino and massive in FL? or is that reason?????????
sytrus is my weapon of choice when i discovered the fast LP FX in fl before i was just messing the 3xosc which didn't sound quite right and was a pain to add bass change ups since i'm running the demo of FL 9 and can't clone my channles so i had to open a new one and copy them all by hand(well mouse haha) but sytrus and fast LP save my ass
also if you know where i could find a good version of reason let me know ^_^
I use Massive for a lot of my sounds, but not all of them. The pads in this track were created in FM8, and the sub is just plain ol' 3xOsc. All of which are soft synths.
wicked bassline.
soon as i heard it after the drop,
i thot of Bar 9's Murda Sound VIP.
i rlly wouldnt mind having
that kinda dubstep patch in my
collection.
great work.
Its minimal, but it rlly works for me.
Wat i think it needs are incidentals.
zaps, rises, sweeps and beeps. any wierd samples
u find that think fit.
its a rusko type technique i guess,
but it really gives ppl something to grab
on to throughout the track. I need more samples
like that haha.
if not, make my own lol.
hey man, thanks for the advice. went back and threw in a few things and made some small changes to fx n beats. hope you'll give it a listen and let me know if that's what you were talkin about.
if you use massive i can send you some of my patches? pretty much all the ones in this tune were from scratch. but the most important stuff for hitting those sounds is in the effects you put it through. check out using a bit crusher or some distortion to get those really broken up basses. theres alot of good freeware out there that does the job.
dam good.
hella better then my frst attempts at dubstep. ive only been producing for like 3 months, so im rlly no masterclass producer.
hell, didnt rlly buy DAW software till like 3 weeks ago haha.
keep banging at it,
a hit's gunna answer eventually.
if there are any samples i absolutly love playin wit, its eastern and ethnic samples...this i gorgeous...filthy...makes me wanna throwa bassline in *hint hint...
the precussion is fantastic. The children laughing sample is chilling, and well placed. honestly i had to listen to it agen.
me too! i love me some ethnic loops.
i would love to add a bassline to it...that is, if i heard one. guess youll have to bail me out and sprinkle some genius on this.

that tune goes well with the precussion
which is unconventional to my ears,
but on point for this tune.
